HOMETOWN USA CELBRATION GIFT BOXES | with Miguel

Making boxes is something that I really like and even more so if they are celebratory! Today I bring you this great idea with the Hometown USA  collection.

After creating my boxes with the fun papers in the collection, I added Odds & Ends and Chit Chat pieces to decorate the front of the boxes.  I also added some fun bows I created with ribbon to decorate the box tops.

The Land that I Love Just Charming Clip is a perfect gift to add to my boxes!  Here I show you how it looks so spectacular inside!

Thank you for stopping by!  I hope as always that my work inspires you to create with the beautiful Doodlebug products. See you soon.

SNOW MUCH FUN WINTER GIFT BOXES | with Miguel

I have another fun project made with the beautiful Snow much fun collection! Today,  I made some packaging to give some nice gifts with a winter theme, I'm sure you will recognize these products haha.

Whenever I'm in a shop and see cute items, I always relate them to Doodlebug collections.  I decided to create some cute boxes to hold the items, to make them even cuter!

To create my boxes, I used some chipboard, acetate, Odds & Ends, Shaped Sprinkles and a Doodle Pop! Look how beautiful all these products make my creation!

Another product that I love are the puffy icon stickers. You can create such fun scenes with them!

I say goodbye as always, hoping that my work inspires you to create.

HELLO AGAIN GOLD DOT ACETATE BOXES | with Lisa

This week, I decided to create something a bit different. I love the Gold Dot Heavy Acetate sheets included in the Hello Again collection and I absolutely wanted to make something with them. I decided to go with cute little transparent gift boxes.

To start, I cut my acetate using my cutting tool, creating the shape to fold the box. The bottom part of the box is 2x2x2 inches, so I cut out a square of 6x6, , cut off what I didn't need, folded it and adhered it together.

For the box lid, I did the same technique, except that the sides are only 1/2 inch. Be careful to add 1/16 or 1/8 inch to the lid, otherwise it won't overlap the box.

When I was done with the two boxes I noticed that they were the perfect size to put three washi tapes in them, so now they are washi tape gift boxes... :)

I created some flowers and butterflies using the Butterfly Wishes Doodle Cuts Dies that I then adhered to the lids and to one side of the boxes. I also added some enamel dots, jewels and gold puffy hearts.

I think the boxes look soooo fun and cute and can also be used to gift jewelry, cookies, candy...

Thank you so much for stopping by and have fun creating :)

HELLO AGAIN ACETATE GIFT BOXES | with Tarrah

Do you like receiving gifts in cute gift boxes? I sure do! The new and GORGEOUS Hello Again collection is the perfect collection to create some gift boxes of your very own!

The new Gold Dot acetate included with the collection made the best foundation for my boxes. I created 2 different sizes using the acetate as the main base. I then chose some patterned papers from the 6"x 6"  paper pad and created tops and bottoms for the boxes.

I wanted the boxes to have a top that could be lifted off however so that it stayed nearby so I added some doodle twine through the lid and the sides of the box to keep it attached to the box. I used the new colors of doodle twine in Mint and Coral and threaded through a cute charmer for each one. The Little Charmers are new too!

I just love me some Doodle Pops and gift boxes are the perfect project to use them on. I added the butterflies to the largest box. Placing one on top of the lid and also placing one on the front of the box. I bent up the wings of the butterfly to show the dimension. The Flower bouquet was a great fit for the front of the smaller box.

I added a Chit Chat sentiment to each box so that I can use these as a thank you or a gift one day, I finished off the boxes with some of the smaller Doodle Pops and placed a gift inside each one. I love how these turned out, they were super easy to make and the result is super cute don't you think?!

Thanks for stopping by today! Happy creating!

CANDY CANE LANE GIFT BOXES | with Lisa

It's almost Christmas time guys and it's time to start looking for little gifts... If you are creating some of your presents yourself or want to present your gifts in a super cute way, I have an idea for you. I decorated fun little boxes with the adorable new Hello Santa Doodle Cuts from the Candy Cane Lane collection.

Like I said, in previous posts, I just love the new stand-alone Doodle Cuts. With these Hello Santa ones, you can create a little Santa in each and every color you want!

To start, I selected my papers. I didn't want to only create red Santas, so I also chose the Much Love cardstock with the pink heart pattern as well as the Plaid it's Christmas Cardstock.

Since I also wanted to change up his face a bit, I cut out the face, using the corresponding die, only once and for the other ones, I just traced the outlines, so that I could draw on my face later.

For the shoes, belt and mittens, I used black and brown cardstock and for the belt buckle, I used gold glitter paper. When I paper pieced everything together, I also changed up the arms. For the red Santa, I cut both of them off and adhered them with the arms looking down. For the pink one, I adhered one of the arms a bit lower.

As you can see from my three characters, even if you only have one die set, you can create a lot of different looks... :)

After adding details, like cheeks, eyes, mouth, white highlights and scribbly lines on the white parts, I adhered my Santas on two circles,  one regular, one scalloped. Then I adhered them to a rectangle, that fit the cover of my box.  I added a zig zag stitch to my rectangles.

I decorated the boxes a bit more, using die cut pieces from the Chit Chat and Odds & Ends packs along with some mini jewels.

I also adhered three Odds & Ends to wood clips and added those to my designs.

To make the box even more fun, I created tassels, with paper beads, that I made myself, and plastic beads.  I really love the little boxes and can't wait to gift them to someone.

...Not with the things on this photo though... those are mine... :) Hahahaaa.. I hope you enjoyed this little idea and are ready to start crafting. I wish you a wonderful week...

DOWN ON THE FARM BIRTHDAY BOX | with Miguel

Altering boxes is something I love to do. I created this new idea to "package" together a group of altered boxes.   It is made with the beautiful Down on the Farm collection and the Down on the Farm Petite Prints Assortment.  I plan to give this to someone special for his birthday!

Petite Prints are my favorite papers and go-to product when it comes to creating,  It's great how you can use them with a number of Doodlebug Collections. Their wide variety of designs and colors give you a great palate to create with!

I used the 3x4 cards on the b-side of the Buffalo Check paper as the main focus of my project.  They decorate the outside as well as each of the boxes.

You can fill these boxes with so many things!  Letters, photos, little gifts.  The recipient will treasure the contents!

I hope and you like my work today. And as always I hope it inspires you to continue creating. goodbye!

LOTS OF LOVE VALENTINE BOXES | with Miguel

When the Lots of Love collection came out, I fell in love with all its designs, but there was one product in particular that caught my attention, the new Hello There! Doodle Cuts because with them you can imagine and create great projects!

I decided to alter some acrylic boxes, decorating them with a beautiful rainbow and this cute cloud, both cut with doodlebug cardstock. I glued them together with pop dots to give the 3D effect.

I added more decoration with the shape sprinkles, since it totally gives shine to the project.

On the top I added a bow and as a tag, the beautiful envelopes cut using the new Love Notes Doodle Cuts, then knotted with twine thread.

These boxes are perfect for packaging a Valentine's Day gift. Thank you as always for stopping by, see you soon.
