HELLO AGAIN POP UP CARDS | with Kathy

Hello friends!  It's good to be back after a short break, and how lucky am I to come back to the Hello Again Collection??  I love all the fun flowers, butterflies, the bright colors... everything!  I decided to make some fun pop up cards using the new coordinating Butterfly Wishes and Home Sweet Home Doodle Cuts.  Take a peek!

My first card was so fun to put together. All of the dies are from the Butterfly Wishes Doodle Cuts.  I cut the butterflies and flowers from a combination of the Hello Again 6x6 pad and some of the new Candy Stripe-Sprinkles and Plaid-Polka Dot Petite Prints.  To add a bit of shine, I also cut the gold envelope that is part of the coordinating cards and envelope set.

To make my butterflies seem like they are flying, I glued pieces of acetate to my base, and then added the butterflies to the acetate.  I love how it looks like they are floating!  The sentiment was cut using the Thanks Die included in the Butterfly Wishes set.

My next card was made using the Home Sweet Home Doodle Cuts Set.  My nephew just purchased his first home and I can't wait to give them this fun card!  I added some flowers from the Hello Love Shaped Sprinkles to the window boxes and to the base of the card.  My sentiment is from the This and That Sticker Sheet.

Again, I used the vellum trick to make the heart "puffs" seem to rise from the chimney, and also to add the sun and clouds to the sky.

These cards were so fun to put together!  Have you created any projects with the Hello Again Collection or the coordinating Doodle Cuts?  Be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Socials, we always love to see your creations!  That's it for me today, thank you for stopping by to peek!

HELLO AGAIN MINI ALBUM | with Conny

I am so excited to be here sharing a Mini album with this gorgeous Collection- Hello Again! I love everything in this collection, the gold details in everything are just Wow! The album measures 8.5” by 5”. I can’t wait to add photos of beautiful moments with my little one.
Let’s get started! You will need two chipboard pieces measuring 8 ½” by 5” for the covers and for the spine one 8 ½” by 1 ¼” piece.  You will also need 12” by 12”  Texture Cardstock, I chose blush and  and pistachio to wrap the chipboard pieces. For the spine you need 4 ¾” by 8 ½”  piece of cardstock.  Adhere the spine in the middle and score on both sides and fold paper inward. I also added stitching on the front and back cover with my Singer sewing machine!
Next step is to put the chipboard together to create an album.  Adhere the spine to the front and back cover of the album placing the flaps inside the leaving 1/8” gap so the album can open and close. Cover the inside of the album you will need two pieces of cardstock from the Hello Again Collection measuring 5 by 8 ¼”. I used the hearts side of the bright side cardstock.   I added a little pocket in the front.
Inside the Album, on the spine,  I added 3 flaps- First one: 6” by 2 ½” scored at 1 & 1 ½”. Second 6” by 2” scored at 3/4” and 1 ¼” and the third one 6” by 1 ½” scored at ¾” and 1”.  I used double sided tape in the middle and placed one on top of the other and adhered to the middle of the spine.
Let’s embellish the cover page, I added the Gold Dot heavy weight acetate centered leaving 1/8” for a border- I love the tiny gold polka dots, they're  beautiful! I centered clusters of florals from the Bits & Pieces – added foam adhesive for dimension! Then, Fancy Flutters Doodle Pops & gold sprinkles.
For the pages, I used both the 12” by 12” , 6” by 6” patterned papers and 12” by 12” solid textured cardstock to create pockets, pages and flip pages.  I embellished with cardstock stickers and Bits & Pieces.   I even created a cute tassel with the doddle twine in the new coral color!

Thank you once again for stopping by and we can’t wait to see what you create with Hello Again!

HELLO AGAIN YOU MAKE ME SMILE LAYOUT | with Nathalie

The new Hello Again collection is in the house! and I am loving each and every little piece of it! There is something extra special about cuteness with a touch of gold!!! It is so easy to work with this collection, and the results are just as beautiful!

Don't you just love the colors and beautiful butterflies! They are the perfect addition to the page.

I started by adding a few strips of patterned paper to the background. I even pulled some of the new washi tape and white cardstock to create a paper strip. I set them on the center of the page.

I fussy cut the wreath from the 6x6 paper pad, and set it atop the paper strips. I then adhere the pictures to the side of the wreath. Then it was all about mixing pieces from the collection to embellish the page.

Chit Chat pack is always a good starting point for a title. This time I mixed the sentiment with a few more floral embellishments and then scattered butterflies to finish the page!

I just love how this turned out, and how easily it came together with the new Hello Again Collection. I cannot wait to see what you create with this collection. XO!

HELLO AGAIN GIFT BOX | with Miguel

Making fun boxes to package up a little gift is what I enjoy doing the most!  You have the option to let your imagination run wild and create them in so many different ways. Today I made a box with Acetate, textured cardstock, and the beautiful Hello Again collection.

In addition to using embellishments from the collection, I also decorated with some pretty butterflies and Flowers I cut using the Butterfly Wishes Doodle Cuts.  Cutting with foamy and cardstock will help you create beautiful dimensions like I did with these pieces. I loved the result!

Another of the materials that I used was the Washi tape since it looks very nice in the transparency of the acetate. Don't you think so? The Mini jewels is another product that adds sparkle to our project, look at the way it decorates the wings of the butterflies.

I say goodbye inviting you to create with the wonderful Doodlebug products. See you soon!

HELLO AGAIN YOU MAKE ME SMILE LAYOUT | with Tya

Well - Hello ...again! LOL! My name is Tya Smith and I am so thrilled to be working with Doodlebug once again! I am so excited to jump right in with my first project using the simply adorable "Hello Again" collection! I loved the first "Hello" collection so much and fell instantly in love with this latest collection. I was so excited to use some fresh, new patterns and colors and all that gold foil is so beautiful!

I thought it would be fun to create a layout to highlight a wonderful night out with some fantastic food and friends! Any time I am with these two ladies, I can't help but laugh and smile all night! Hi Cynthea and Tonya!

To create this layout, I started with a white cardstock background and add a few paint splatters in the top and bottom corners of the paper. I love using a little bit of mixed media to add interest to my layouts. I also base my layout on a sketch from the super-talented Allison Davis - love her work!

I started to create this layout by grabbing the 6x6 paper pad and chose 8 of my favorite papers. I cut them to 5 inches x 5 inches. I then cut these squares right in half with my trimmer. I added some hand stitching on the solid papers for some added texture and to make the papers stand out a little bit. I then added these papers to the center of the cardstock base. I typed up my journaling on white cardstock strips and glued them to this section of the layout.

Next up, is the fun part! Using all the embellishments! I added some floral clusters and tiny gold foil flowers from the Bits and Pieces. Then I added 2 butterflies to the flowers with some foam tape and folded up the wings for some interest. The butterflies are from the Odds& Ends.

I was so excited to see these awesome new gold foiled Sprinkles as part of this collection so I added them to the floral clusters. I had to add a cute rainbow from the Odds & Ends to the top edge of one of my photos. Then I finished decorating with some Hearts from the Puffy Icons. It's so fun to add all these different types and textures of embellishments to make my clusters really stand out! And let's be honest, nobody does embellishments better than Doodlebug!

I added the "You Make Me Smile" die cut from the Chit Chat ephemera to use as my title and because this girl can't get enough of gold - I added a strip of gold scallop washi tape under the title. I also added the " The best time ever" speech bubble to the right side of my photo.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today! I hope this layout inspires you to record some of your favorite memories of those people in your life that make YOU smile! Happy Crafting friends!

HELLO AGAIN ACETATE GIFT BOXES | with Tarrah

Do you like receiving gifts in cute gift boxes? I sure do! The new and GORGEOUS Hello Again collection is the perfect collection to create some gift boxes of your very own!

The new Gold Dot acetate included with the collection made the best foundation for my boxes. I created 2 different sizes using the acetate as the main base. I then chose some patterned papers from the 6"x 6"  paper pad and created tops and bottoms for the boxes.

I wanted the boxes to have a top that could be lifted off however so that it stayed nearby so I added some doodle twine through the lid and the sides of the box to keep it attached to the box. I used the new colors of doodle twine in Mint and Coral and threaded through a cute charmer for each one. The Little Charmers are new too!

I just love me some Doodle Pops and gift boxes are the perfect project to use them on. I added the butterflies to the largest box. Placing one on top of the lid and also placing one on the front of the box. I bent up the wings of the butterfly to show the dimension. The Flower bouquet was a great fit for the front of the smaller box.

I added a Chit Chat sentiment to each box so that I can use these as a thank you or a gift one day, I finished off the boxes with some of the smaller Doodle Pops and placed a gift inside each one. I love how these turned out, they were super easy to make and the result is super cute don't you think?!

Thanks for stopping by today! Happy creating!

HELLO AGAIN YOU & ME LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today and I'm so EXCITED to share my very first layout using the absolutely stunning Hello Again collection. This collection has such a pretty color palette with pops of gold foil. I am in LOVE with it and I had the best time creating with it. Here's my page, I hope that you like it!

I wanted to highlight the colors in the collection so I created a simple mixed media background by ink blending a few Distress Oxide inks that coordinated with this collection. I used Saltwater Taffy, Kitsch Flamingo, Salvaged Patina and Squeezed Lemonade. I also splattered on some Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine to bring in more pops of gold.

I then pulled out the coordinating Hello Again stamp set and stamped out the butterfly a few times around the page. Next, I pulled out a few papers from the 6x6 Paper Pad and tore into them at an angle. I made sure to place them in between my stamped butterflies and distressed their edges before adhering them down.

This collection has so many gorgeous embellishments and I had such a great time creating my embellishment clusters. I chose a few pieces from both the Odds & Ends, Chit Chat and Bits & Pieces packs and grouped them together. I popped some up on foam tape to give them dimension and interest. The hanging plants are my favorite!!!!

I matted my photo and placed it towards the right side of my paper layers. I wanted a little more color and some softness to my page, so I pulled out one of the Mini Paper Doilies in Mint and layered them under the patterned paper layers. My title came from the Chit Chat pack and I turned it on its side and adhered it right on top of my photo.

Here's another embellishment cluster. All of the pops of gold foil are just so stunning on this page. I tucked in a few of the super cute Gold Sprinkles and a few of the All Aflutter Shape Sprinkles. I love butterflies and these are the perfect additions to my clusters.

Lastly, I added in a few bits of tangled thread to add more texture to my page. I love all of the layers and soft colors on this layout. This collection is so sweet and was perfect to document this photo of my daughter in her wrap. She's a contact napper and I spend most of my day wearing her. Such a sweet memory to scrapbook!

Here's one more shot of this page:

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way! I'll see you in my next post friends!
