FRENCH KISS 3D Camera Gift Box | with Jennifer

Because the French Kiss collection has a mix of traditional and non-traditional Valentine's colors, it makes it very versatile.
This collection makes me want to go to France. Enjoy the sites, people, food and of course take tons and tons of pictures. So I was inspired to make this camera box.
The camera was made in two parts. The lid has most of the details, like the lens, strap and buttons. While the base is pretty simple.  I didn't use a pattern for this, but there are lots of 3d camera files out there to choose from, so you can easily make something very similar.
A camera would be useless without film. So I created a roll, using a chipboard tube, a wood circle (for the top) and some of the square icons from the back side of the Petite Fleur 12x12 page. Using my Silhouette software I created a filmstrip to fit the 3 icons, then attached it to the roll.
Thanks so much for joining me today. Happy crafting, everyone!

FRENCH KISS Layout | with Caroli

I love how versatile all collections by Doodlebug are, and the French Kiss collection is no exception.  The bright colors and happy patterns of this range are the perfect fit for this layout I made about my little boy. His name is Martin, but he calls himself "Tatin", so I used his nickname as the main element of my layout.

I wanted to use a big title on the left, so I balanced the page using a big photo on the right. I created my title using the guidelines of this video and I combined the big chunky letters with some handwritten ones using Sacramento free font.
I created a embellishment cluster on top left and another one on the bottom right, just to keep the page balanced. I combined different levels and volume just to make the design more interesting.

I hope you liked this idea, this kind of title is a great way of displaying all the beautiful patterned papers without making the page looks too busy.

Have a lovely day!

FRENCH KISS - Cut File Card Set | with Brigit

Here's a couple of cards I made using the French Kiss paper collection and cutting files. Though these are perfect for Valentine's day they can also be used throughout the year which makes the French Kiss such a versatile collection.

The cutting files can be bought in svg format from Lori Whitlock's shop, when they are released and also in studio format for the Silhouette machines.

I made a cut out in the middle of the flower circle using the candy box heart svg and then did a cutout of the I and you from the notes and paper file.

Here I used the chocolates 2 cut files, you can't really see in the photo but I used some glossy accents on the candies, gives them a nice shine.

For this card, I used an svg file which already had the love front panel made I just added you as a cutout. I find it easier to do cutouts of smaller letters and just add paper to the back, don't have to line them up!!

FRENCH KISS - Cut File Layout | with Virginia

The quote 'Do what you love' rings so true as I scrapbook some awesome memories of my grand-daughter's cheer routine (doing what she loves) at a recent competition.

My design inspiration began with the title 'all heart from bow to toe' and so incorporating hearts and bows became the plan!

I perused the awesome collection of the French Kiss cutting files (available at Lori Whitlock) and found the bows and chocolate treats files.  Why the chocolates? On one of the treats you can see the little heart and with a few easy clicks on my electronic cutting machine software I was able to make a heart outline in several sizes.

I used card stock and patterned paper combinations under the heart outlines and incorporated my journaling into the medium sized heart. I'm swooning over those patterned heart shaped sprinkles too.

In power cheer, wearing a bow a big element to the look and with team colours being yellow and black, the bright yellow bows really adds the pop!
Thanks for dropping by the blog, hope you can find time today to 'do what you love'!

FRENCH KISS Treat Boxes | with Karen

I love Valentine's day! It's a fun day for me to remind the people that I love that they are important. But it isn't for everyone, and that's why I love the new French Kiss collection from Doodlebug. If you love Valentine's Day, this collection is for you. If you don't, this collection is for you too! Really! Inspired by the adorable Doodlepops in this collection (Doodlepops that I usually hoard actually), I decided to create some treat containers that were adorable enough for Valentine's Day, but also "generic" enough to give away for any purpose. With a few score lines and a few cuts, these containers came together in no time. The Doodlepops were the perfect focal point on the front of the containers, simply placed on top of some adorable mini doilies in Lily White.
With a cute sentiment from the This and That sticker sheet and a couple of mini paper clips on top of some matted French Cafe patterned paper, these little containers pack a dynamic little punch that says everything from "hello" to "thank-you" to "I love you" - Valentine's Day or not! I can't wait to give these away to some great colleagues in the coming days!

So get out there and make something adorable with this collection - just because!
Thanks for stopping by!

FRENCH KISS Travel Planner Pages | with Jomelle

Take me to Paris My Love. The French Kiss collection has many beautiful pieces and elements that makes me want to go to Paris for Valentine's Day. Creating layouts and spreads in my Poppy Dot Daily Doodles Travel Planner will just have to do for now.
I really wanted to add a heart shape insert but didn't know exactly what to do or what I want. I just started by cutting a big heart shape using the "bonbons" cardstock paper. I know I wanted the color of the heart in red. Once I have the heart cut up, I folded it in half and placed it in the middle of one of the cover insert I created previously. I then started to decorate it with stickers and odds & ends.

Valentine's Day is on February 14. This collection is perfect to create my Heart Day theme monthly layout.

I pre-decorated the pages after the monthly layout. I haven't decided what to do with this page. Maybe I can add a picture of me and hubby when we do go on a date this Valentine's Day or I can write him a love letter. Maybe I can do both. What do you think?
How cute are these mini love notes? They are perfect to use since they are flat and not too bulky inside your insert.
I've been having fun creating these laminated page markers and washi tapes holder.
These page markers/washi tapes holder are super easy to make. First, I choose the patterns/designs of the cardstocks I want to use. Then I cut them to the size I want or need. I then add couple of odds & ends, one larger piece to the top and another on the bottom of the page. I place the larger odds & ends piece slightly sticking up on the top. Then I laminate and cut. Super easy and fun to do right?

You can also see the washi tapes I used to wrap around one of the page markers so I can carry them with me and not bring the whole roll. As I've mentioned in my past blogs, I added the clear adhesive pockets from Target Dollar spot to hold those pretty elements. I love using the adhesive pockets.
You can see here how I place my page marker inside my insert. Of course I'll have the hot air balloon slightly sticking up to the top when I close the page.
I also added a clear adhesive pocket to the back side to hold more embellishments to take with me on the go.
I will go and visit Paris with my husband someday, hopefully soon. Thank you for stopping by and I hope I was able to inspire you to create a Heart Day theme set up in your Daily Doodles.

FRENCH KISS Card Set | with Barbara

The French Kiss Collection is FULL of the cutest romantic images and icons ever! In addition, there are birthday items and 'just thinking of you type' ephemera perfect for any occasion for those special people in your life. For my two cards today, though, I went full-on Valentine’s Day!

For my first card, I used patterned paper from the French Kiss 6 x 6 paper pad for the background and added some Love Actually washi tape as an accent. I also added a strip of Dot-Stripe Rainbow Petite Prints to serve as “grass”, then I added the pink Eiffel Tower from Tower of Love Doodle-Pops, springing out of the flower print.

Next I added the bicycling couple from Odds & Ends with a heart balloon tied to the back with some Blue Jean Doodle Twine, and a speech bubble from the French Kiss Chit Chat assortment. Foam tape was used for dimension and I finished off with some embellishments including more Odds & Ends, Heart Throb Shape Sprinkles, and a Cupcake jewel.

For my second card I went a little more CAS. I just love all the happy colors in this collection so I used a couple of them in the form of patterned paper from the French Kiss 6 x 6 paper pad for the background. I transitioned between the two with super sweet City of Love washi tape.

I popped up an Odds and Ends element on foam tape for the sentiment banner at the top and constructed three Mini Love Notes and arranged them on the bottom panel. I finished off by adding some Baby Hearts Shape Sprinkles, using one to dot the “I” in the sentiment banner.

FRENCH KISS Cut File Card Set | with Kay

Hi there! I have a fun set of four cards to share with you today using the Newest Collection from Doodlebug Designs, French Kiss. These adorable cards would be great for Valentines, gift tags, or to slip into the lunchbox for a fun surprise! I used the new French Kiss SVG cut files, and cut all the cute designs out with my Silhouette Cameo.

I absolutely love the puppies! I couldn't wait to cut them out and put them together! I used the the Doodlebug Designs textured card stock to cut the designs out of. It cuts super nice in the Cameo.

The cards each measure 4 1/4 x 4 1/4. This is the perfect size to still fit into an A2 size envelope.

I used patterned paper from the 6x6 12x12 French Kiss Double Sided Cardstock Paper pads to layer some papers to create the background for each of the cards.

I also used the Shape Sprinkles Heart Throb and Baby Hearts to add the tiny hearts to the corners and also around the dogs.

I love the page of borders hat comes in the paper pads! They are perfect to cut and use for borders on your cards and projects!

I hope you have enjoyed my cards today!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
