by Tiffany Hood http://www.rhinestonesandribbon.blogspot.com

Journaling Reads: This year I turned 30 and I decided to change my life - I tried things I’ve never tried before - I made myself more important in my life - I made tough decisions - I fought for what I wanted - I decided life was too short - I became more confident - I finally understood how important it was to take care of myself - I lost 20 pounds because I made up my mind that I could and that I was worth it - I went outside my comfort zone broke down my barriers I found myself. - No more insecurity - No more doubt - I can do anything I put my mind to - I will not live another day with regret - I will reach and fight for every dream I have - I will love myself, and love others - I am confident, beautiful….I am proud to be me

Tuesday Tutorial: Multiple Photo Layout

by Nancy Damiano

Every year I take dozens of pictures of the kids in our family opening gifts. And every year I'm disappointed in the photos - they're dark, blurry or use lots of flash. While I'm practicing becoming a better photographer in low-light situations, I needed to find a way to showcase all of these not-so-great shots. The pictures aren't perfect, but the expressions in those little faces and the memories are!

The best way to showcase lots of pictures (and make not great ones look better) is to print them out in smaller sizes. I started out by making a grid of circles with my die cutting machine that measured 2".

I left room in the center of the aqua patterned paper so that I could tie twine in the center. I was able to use 7 photos in a small, compact space and still showcase the excitement of opening gifts. I placed the Santa's Workshop stickers on white cardstock, filled the rest of the circles with photos and backed the entire grid on kraft cardstock.

This is a quick and easy way to showcase some of the many photos you're sure to take this Holiday season!

Supply List:
Santa's Workshop: Cardstock Icon Stickers, Border Sticker
Doodle Twine: Christmas Assortment
Headlines: 'tis the Season
Expression Rub-on: 'tis the Season
Mini Jewels: Ladybug

Santa's Workshop Home Decor Ideas

Santa's Workshop Village Tiffany Hood
http://www.rhinestonesandribbon.blogspot.com

This is a fun home decor project that would also make a great gift idea.  I love giving homemade gifts, and I love creating holiday crafts for others.  I used the "Santa's Workshop" collection and cut the houses using my Cricut and the My Community cartridge.  I assembled the houses and then traced them onto wood and cut them out.  Using Mod-Podge, I decoupaged the fronts onto the wood pieces, and then used "Aleene's Glitter Snow," "Diamond Dust" and Doodlebug's Chunky Glitter to make the "snow" on the rooftops and the ground.  Full details and detail images can be found on my blog today.

Supply List: Santa’s Workshop sugar coated cardstock stickers; Santa’s Workshop fancy frills sugar coated cardstock stickers; Santa’s Workshop Cute Cuts; Holiday Tweed double-sided cardstock; Cheery Chat double-sided cardstock; Jolly Dots double-sided cardstock; Candy Cane Lane double-sided cardstock; Petite Prints cardstock- Grasshopper dot-grid; Doodle-Pops cardstock sticker- O Christmas Tree; Doodle-Pops cardstock sticker- Wreath; Doodle-Pops cardstock sticker- Little Helper; Doodle-Pops cardstock sticker- Poinsettia; Doodle-Pops cardstock sticker- Snowflake; Boutique Brads- Happy Holidays Assortment; Boutique Brads- Christmas Candy Assortment; Sugar Coating Chunky Glitter- Lily White

12 Days of Christmas Advent by Stephanie Buice
http://mybitsofsunshine.blogspot.com

This 12 days of Christmas Advent calendar was a fun project to make, and using my silhouette made it super easy!

I had to play with the shapes a bit to get the ones I wanted, but after that all there was left to do was to cut them out and sew them together to form the "pockets". This project took a bit of time but it was so worth it, the Doodlebug's Santa's Workshop collection is so cute and fun who wouldn't want it displayed in their home?

Supply List: All patterned paper from Santa's workshop collection.

Christmas Lolly-pop Tree by Melinda Spinks

Coming up with the perfect gift at Christmas time can be such a hard task as most people have everything they need. So, I decided to get a little bit creative and make an edible gift that can be used as a table centrepiece in the lead up to Christmas and then demolished (slowly of course) piece by piece.

Supplies Used: Santa's Workshop cardstock - pretty poinsettias, little helpers, cheery chat, assorted cut-outs, candy cane lane; Sugar Coated cardstock - Vanilla.

Gift Box and Gift Card Set by Wendy Sue Anderson http://wendysueanderson.blogspot.com/
