FARMHOUSE FALL NAPKIN RINGS | with Tarrah

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Do you like to decorate your table for Thanksgiving? I created 5x napkin holders using the Farmhouse collection and I love how they turned out!

I chose 5 different papers from the 6' x 6' paper pad and trimmed them to 3.5 inches x 6 inches and curled them around to create circles to be able to place napkin into.

I then cut some more strips of different and smaller papers to adhere over the top of the first papers. Next was the fun part of embellishing each one! I knew I wanted to add the Little Charmers to them so I tied all 3 available in the Farmhouse collection to my napkin holders using various colours of Doodle Twine.

I chose die-cuts and puffy stickers for the centres of them, adhering them using foam tape to add dimension to each of them. I also added word stickers from the This and That sticker sheet and also one of the scalloped border stickers to one of the napkin holders too.

Isn't the turkey just so adorable in the Farmhouse collection?! He is so super cute and just had to be featured on one of my napkin holders! These napkin holders make a perfect decoration for your table placements for Thanksgiving! I hope you will give these a try!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy creating!

FARMHOUSE ACCORDION ALBUMS | with Niella

Hi crafty crew! How nice to see you today! I hope you've had a beautiful Thanksgiving celebration and had a wondrous time to reflect, reconnect and relax with your friends and family! How stuffed did you manage to get with all the yummy trimmings! With December only a couple days away, let's have some Fall inspiration to get you memory keeping - enter my next Farmhouse project; mini accordion albums! And there is a fun video showcase at the end my friends!

These sweet gems are 4x4.5" and 3.5x4" each. I made each album by starting with three pieces of chipboard and wrapping each with a strip of 12x12 Farmhouse patterned paper. The papers I used for the covers are Farmhouse and Fall Floral. The smaller album is covered with Fall Floral and Country Calico. I love all the papers, but these ones I used were destined to be! So fitting :-)

After I made and decorated the covers, I grabbed a couple sheets of white 12x12" cardstock and cut two strips to fit inside the album. You'll need to bind one edge to the other, creating a long 24" strip. This will serve as all the "pages" in the album. Score each page evenly and fold. Secure one end inside the back cover. You can then have the pages in and out of the cover. Next I decorated the pages with tabs and bits from the Bits & Pieces ephemera pack. Look how cute those wee tags look!

Once the cover was completed and the strip of page was folded into "pages" then comes the BEST bit ever of decorating! There is so much happiness enclosed in each Doodlebug collection, and Farmhouse is no exception! I can't tell you how much I love opening the Odds & Ends, Bits & Pieces and Chit Chat ephemera packs. You will never be short of goodies!

Here I made pop up pieces, tuck spots, tuck in areas and used Shaped Sprinkles here and there. Look how cute the kitties look all nested on the padded chair.

I Hope you've found inspiration today! Please remember to tag us in our your Socials when you create with Doodlebug so we can all admire your creativity! We love seeing your creations. Thanks for stopping by y'all, until next time doodle dee!

FARMHOUSE GRATEFUL LAYOUT | with Tya

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! Today I wanted to take a moment to reflect on gratitude. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to design for Doodlebug- a company whose products always inspire me to create with joy. It's a privilege to share my love of crafting with such an incredible community, and I hope this layout- featuring the simply lovely Farmhouse collection, brings a little inspiration to your day!

As I sat down to create, I was drawn to the This and That sticker sheet. This is always a good starting place for me because I look here for titles. The "begin each day with a grateful heart" was just what I was looking for. Those words felt especially meaningful as we celebrate a season of gratitude. I wanted to design a quick and simple layout that would bring this beautiful sentiment to the forefront. I built a layered cluster around this sticker with a tag, stamp, and heart die cuts from the Bits and Pieces ephemera and some stickers.

I balanced the design with a selfie photo matting it with some Coral Textured Cardstock. I added a Bon Bon Doily for some added texture in this grouping. Under my photo is a border of beautiful florals and leaves from one of the die cuts in the Bits and Pieces.

Up in the top left corner of the layout is another grouping of embellishments as well as my journaling. The pop of black in the embellishments paired well with my black-and-white photo. You can also see that I cut out one of the tags from the Buffalo Plaid patterned paper. Here you can also see the pattern papers I used on my layout - the pretty plaid on the Country Quilt paper, the lovely mint on the Farmhouse paper, and the delicious dots on the Woodland Berries paper.

I love all the tag shapes that are found in the collection so along the left side of my layout, I chose 5 tags - 3 from the Bits and Pieces and 2 cut from the Give Thanks tag cut apart paper. I tied some Beetle Black Doodle Twine to a few of the tags to tie in the black and white colors.

As I reflect on this project, I am reminded of the importance of gratitude - not just during the holiday season, but every day. I hope this layout inspires you to celebrate the big and small moments of life with a grateful heart.

Thank you all for stopping by today - wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and creativity! Take care and we will see you next time!

FARMHOUSE TREAT BAGS WITH BEE HAPPY TAGS | with Miguel

Making small gifts each season is something I really enjoy and even more so if they are done with beautiful Doodlebug collections. Today I made these little bags filled with pumpkin-flavored sweets to share using the Farmhouse collection and the fun Bee Happy Doodle Cuts!

I decorated each bag with tags I made using the Bee Happy Doodle Cuts.  I filled them with Bumblebee Shaker Balls, and I love the results!

I added some Odds & Ends and Chit Chat to my tags to decorate some more!

I tied my tags with different shades of Doodle Twine, which coordinated perfectly with the colors of the Farmhouse collection.

Thank you! for stopping by here, I say goodbye but not before inviting you to continue creating!

FARMHOUSE SWEET MEMORIES LAYOUT | with Nathalie

Fall is the season of all things cozy and warm, so what better than fresh baked treats and all the sweet memories that come with it! I love all the baking icons in the Farmhouse collection, and wanted to use them to document my daughter's baking skills

I pulled all the icons in a simple and clean design with a small twist.

I started my page with a basic coordinating cardstock, and trimmed it to about 10.5", then decided to frame the page with the Farmhouse paper (cut to 10.75"). I then decided to cut two of the corners of the Fall Floral paper, so that I could tuck the framed cardstock.

I backed my pictures with papers from the 6x6 paper pad, but decided to anchor them to the page with the large journaling card from the Woodland berries paper.

Did I mentioned that the inspiration for this page was all the baking/kitchen icons in the collection! Well, I pulled a few Odds & Ends pieces and mixed them with some of the stickers to create two large clusters next to each of the photos.

For my title, I pulled a few pieces from the Chit Chat package, and set it below the photos. I love the color and font of the title as it does not compete with all the color and details in the icons.

To finish the page, I added a few sprinkles around each of the clusters and all it needs is the journaling lines. I love how this turned out, and I hope it inspires your own creation with the beautiful Farmhouse collection.  XO

FARMHOUSE TURKEY TIME TREAT HOLDERS | with Kathy

It's almost Thanksgiving... you know what that means... Turkey!  What do you call a group of turkeys?  After a search online I came up with a few options... a Flock, a Rafter, a Gang, and in some cases a Gaggle.  Whatever you call them, I created a whole bunch of them using the Farmhouse collection and the Turkey Time Doodle Cuts.  Take a peek...

We have a big crew for Thanksgiving... I made these little turkeys into a treat holders to put on everyone's plate.  These would also make super cute classroom treats, or a little something for your office friends.

Using the Turkey Time Doodle Cuts, I cut the pieces from a combination of Farmhouse Coordinating Textured Cardstock, Farmhouse Patterned papers and some Petite Prints.  The little eyes were done using An Eye for an Eye Shaped Sprinkles.

On the back of each turkey I created a triangular holder... it serves double duty.  First, of course, it holds the candy treat, and it also allows the turkey to stand upright.  It's really simple to put together.  I cut a strip of Textured cardstock measuring 1" x 6".  I then scored it at 3/8", 2 3/8" and 3 5/8".  I added a Lindor Ball using a glue dot, then secured the triangle, and to the back of the turkey using double sided tape.

I put together a quick video tutorial showing how I assembled them.  Once the papers were cut, they went together super quick!

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Thanks for stopping by to peek!

FARMHOUSE SHAKER TAG MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hey Crafty Friends, it’s Conny! I’m excited to share my latest project featuring the charming Farmhouse collection. One of my main inspirations came from the beautiful 12 x 12 Double-Sided Buffalo Plaid paper. I particularly loved the side with tags, which was a perfect template for creating the additional tags throughout my mini album. The rustic and cozy feel of the plaid really brought my project to life, and I can’t wait for you to see how it all came together!

Here's how I put it together!  I began with a template measuring 5 7/8" x 3 1/2".  I cut all my papers from the 6x6 paper pad or used scraps left over from my last project. Additionally, I utilized some Heavy Clear Acetate to create the templates for my shaker tags.

For the next step, I used my sewing machine to seal three sides of the tag. Then, I added a mix of shaker elements, including Shades of Fall and Fall Flowers Shakers, as well as some Tangerine Shakers. For extra flair, I included round sequins in bumblebee and cupcake. After adding the sprinkles to the clear acetate, I sewed the top of the tag shut using my sewing machine.

For the shaker cover, I embellished it with flowers from the Bits & Pieces, along with some Puffy Icon Stickers and the Turkey Time Doodle-Pop. I also added the Mini Maple Little Charmer to the ribbons. Inside the mini album, I decorated further and included photo mats that measure 3 1/4" x 4 1/4". Additionally, I incorporated a few smaller tags from the Bits & Pieces and added pom-pom ribbons for extra detail.

I added shakers as covers and one in the middle of my mini-album. My mini-album has about seven pages, but you can definitely add more. Have you ever created a mini-tag album before? I would love to see you give this project a try! You can hand stitch and create different fun patterns if you don't have a sewing machine. Make it enjoyable and uniquely yours!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I love sharing with you all my creative ways of making projects. Xo Conny!
