BERRY SWEET LOVE THIS MINI ALBUM | with Niella

Hi crafty crew! It's so berry nice to see you visit the blog today! I've handpicked a super fun and dainty album that I've created just for you for my first project with this mini collection! It's made with the new Berry Sweet collection and I hope you're going to love everything about this darling album! Be sure to read through to the bottom where there'll be the video flip through :-)

How stinkin' cute is this Strawberry Fields patterned paper! I love the florals and the sweet pops of strawberries so much.  Set against the pink and red cardstock from the coordinating cardstock pack and finished off with the Berry Bouquet Doodle Pop! The Sprinkles complete my cover, it's all so lovingly perfect!

When you open the hardcover you need to gather yourself over how cute the stacked pages look! Those puffy cupcake stickers and Sprinkles are yummy on the front page.  Under that is another berry sweet page with the Shaker polymer clay pieces that I've adhered onto a heart lock charm.  So many items with all the elements in this mini collection!

Next, I've skipped over a couple pages to come to these ones here, the All The Things ephemera with this delicious Ice Cream truck (it's pink, yay!) adhered on the daisy Acetate. The next page over is a patch work style page with strips adhered and machine stitched on.  Doesn't it look gorgeous! The tiniest scallop edges have been cut on the bottom as a sweet texture.

Skipping over a couple more pages, brings you to the end but before the end are these happy and joyful pages with the icon stickers and Shape Sprinkles! Hello yummy vanilla sponge cake topped with cream and strawberries sticker! Adore! I could talk all day about how darling this wee album turned out, but thought you'd enjoy the video more! So take a look and enjoy.

Thank you again for visiting crafty crew! I hope you've found inspiration today! Please remember to tag us in our your Socials when you create with Doodlebug so we can all admire your creativity! We love seeing your creations. Until next time; doodle dee!

BERRY SWEET - BERRY SWEET LAYOUT | with Tya

Hi crafty friends! Tya here, and today I’m excited to share a layout that is as sweet as a summer strawberry! I used the absolutely darling Berry Sweet collection from Doodlebug Design, and it was the perfect match for documenting this cute little moment with my cat, Winnie, out exploring the garden. Let’s take a closer look at the details!

In the full shot of the layout, you can see how I used a grid of cheerful 2x2 patterned paper squares from the 6x8 paper pad in bold berry prints, ginghams, florals, and stripes to build a colorful background. I added dimension with lots of embellishments from the "All the Things" die cuts, including the adorable strawberry die cuts, flowers, and some puffy dots, hearts, and flowers from the Puffy Stickers scattered throughout. This gave the page a patchwork quilt vibe, perfect for the sweet garden theme.

One of my favorite embellishments from the collection is this pink polka-dot wheelbarrow overflowing with strawberries and flowers! I tucked it next to the photo of Winnie sniffing the strawberry plant, and perched a little bird on top for extra charm. A puffy red flower and yellow flower  die cut finished off this corner beautifully.

The “berry sweet” title uses a mix of script and playful fonts in rainbow colors, adding a fun pop to the white space on the right. Just below, I included a few lines of journaling. And how sweet is the little mouse friend peeking out over the flower pot? I thought it framed out the title perfectly.

In the top corner, I added a mini cluster with layered hearts, a “Love You” sentiment, which is a sticker from the This and That sticker sheet,  and a soft pop of color from a puffy yellow heart. This small detail helps balance the page while keeping things light and fresh. I did add a few black Nuvo dots here and there on the page around my little clusters - I love the pop of black next to the colorful die cuts.

The highlight, of course, is my curious little kitty, Winnie, captured mid-sniff among the greenery. I love how the warm sunlight and the blossoms of the strawberry plants echo the collection’s theme. She looks totally enchanted, and I couldn’t resist snapping a few shots to preserve this moment.

The top section continues showcasing the patchwork grid with more berry-printed papers and a happy little strawberry face die cut. Notice the strip of colorful diagonal stripe paper strips - they are from the Strawberry Fields 12x12 paper.  I also added a sweet striped sticker tab and another cluster of flowers to tie everything together. It’s the cutest finishing touch!

I hope this layout makes you smile and maybe sparks a little inspiration for your own berry sweet memories. This collection is bursting with charm and color—it’s perfect for summer scenes, garden stories, or anything that calls for a fresh, fruity vibe! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you feel inspired to pick up the Berry Sweet collection and create something adorable. Happy crafting, friends—see you next time!

BERRY SWEET EMBELLISHMENTS | with Miguel

I love working with Doodlebug's beautiful products! And this time, I let my imagination run wild, die-cutting and embellishing these embellishments with materials from the Berry Sweet collection.

To create these embellishments, I used Doodle Cuts among other dies, and I started by layering cardstock and foam to add dimension. I really like doing this to give the pieces more strength. This mouse is truly beautiful!

To decorate, I'll mention the materials I used, which I mixed together: all the things, shaped
sprinkles, and shakers.

In this piece, I used Berry Patch shakers, which are more than perfect for this cute shaker cup.
The important thing is to mix the various Doodlebug materials to create beautiful pieces.

I hope this idea works for you, and I'm more than ready to see where I can place them to make them look even better than they already do. See you soon!

BERRY SWEET - SWEET GIRL LAYOUT | with Nathalie

We are all so in love with the new Berry Sweet collection from Doodlebug. It is such a perfect and small collection for all those lovely memories.    The sweet details and all the things berry gave the perfect vessel to document my daughter's Pastry Chef journey. Let me show you what I have created:

I wanted to create a fun design for the page, and decided on creating a focal point for the layout using patterned paper and a jaunty angle.

I started by cutting the red with white polka dots side of the berry sweet paper from the 6x8 paper pad into two triangles.   Then decided to add a layer under them using the Strawberry Stripe paper.  These were glued to opposite corners of the base, providing the perfect spot for the photo and embellishments.

I backed the photos with a paper from the 6x8 paper pad, and added a piece of the scalloped border below the photos before gluing it to the base.  I created a cluster of embellishments at the top right corner of the photos.  The berry theme made it easy to put together pieces into a cluster.

I took advantage of the angle the papers created to add my title to the page.  I also added extra embellishments to bulk up the title cluster.   To finish the spread, I added a few Sprinkles throughout the clusters to bring it all together.

I love how this turned out, and I hope you give the new Berry Sweet collection a try, you are going to love it!

XO

BERRY SWEET BIRTHDAY BOX CARD | with Kathy

Have you seen the new Berry Sweet Treats Doodle Cuts?  I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them!  I knew exactly what I wanted to make as soon as I got my hands on them!  Take a peek....

I think that 3D cards are so fun to receive and they look so cute on display.  My box card was created using the dies in the set, along with the 6x8 Pad, some coordinating cardstock and petite prints.  I added a sentiment from the "All the Things" pack as a finishing touch.

I created some dimension by adding strawberries on both the front piece and the insert.  How cute is that mouse??!!

I just love how he peeks out over the pile of berries!  This card was really easy to make, and it fits into a standard A2 envelope.  If you'd like to make your own, I created a quick tutorial video.

If you make one, please be sure to tag me (@kathy_skou) and @doodlebugdesign!  We love to see your creations.  That's it for me today, thank you for stopping by to peek.

BERRY SWEET MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hello Crafty Friends, it's Conny from The Daily Life of Creativity. I'm so excited to share my latest project using the Berry Sweet Collection. This line is bursting with charm and is absolutely perfect for all your summer crafting!

I created a mini album using the gorgeous Berry Blossoms heavy acetate for the cover to kick things off. It measures 11" x 7" and is scored along the longest side at 5" and 6" to form a 1" spine. I added gold standard eyelets in the center of the spine, measuring 1/2" from both the top and bottom—this gives it a polished, sturdy finish that I love.

I mixed papers from the 12" x 12" collection for the inside pages, trimming them down to 10" x 5 3/4". I scored these at 5" on the long side, creating beautifully balanced pages. Then I grabbed a few sheets from the 6" x 8" paper pad, trimming them to 5 3/4" x 8" and scoring them at 4" to add a little variety and layering interest.

One of my favorite parts of this album is the shaker pocket I created—it's filled with a berry patch mix that adds the perfect sparkle and movement. I placed it in the album's center for maximum impact and tucked in 3" x 4" cards as an extra interactive element.

I went with a clean and simple design for the cover—just a scallop border sticker and the sweetest sentiment sticker that reads "You're So Berry Sweet". I love how the acetate lets that sentiment shine through while still keeping the album playful and elegant.

I used white stretchy elastic to bind it all together, which holds the pages snugly but allows flexibility for adding more later. Inside, I included photo mats in sizes 4" x 5" and 5" x 3 1/2", ready for pictures or journaling spots.

This mini album was a joy to create, and I hope it inspires you to explore the Berry Sweet Collection and create something just as magical! Happy crafting! XO, Conny

BERRY SWEET - BERRY FIRST BIRTHDAY LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna here today and the new Berry Sweet collection is honestly so adorable! I have so many ideas for it and can't wait to create with it again.  When my daughter turned one last year, we had it berry themed and I knew the photos from her special day would go perfectly with this collection! Here's my page, I had so much fun making it:

To start, I really wanted to use some colored cardstock instead of my usual white cardstock base. I thought it would be fun to pull in more pinks and reds, so I pulled out the Berry Sweet Solid Assortment pack and grabbed both the Cupcake and Ladybug papers. I trimmed the Cupcake paper down to an 11x11 and then matted it with the Ladybug paper. Next, I pulled out my 3" circle punch and punched a circle using the Berry Sweet 12x12 patterned paper. I then took the Sweet Spot 12x12 patterned paper and trimmed a 2x11 strip from it. I layered them together and then adhered everything down.

My daughter has strawberries on her dress, so I of course had to pull in a lot of the adorable strawberry pieces. I created small clusters with a few of them and since she's just as sweet as can be, I also included a few cupcake pieces.

To create my title, I pulled a few phrases from the All The Things pack and built it along with some Alphabet Soup Puffy Stickers in White. These phrases were perfect for my title! I embellished around my title using a few of the cute mice from the Icons sticker sheet and even included that adorable Berry Sweet Shaker-Pop. My daughter's name is Annie but we've been calling her Sunny since she was a baby and it's one that has just stuck with her.

Lastly, I went through and started adding some smaller elements to my page. I just HAD to add the crazy cute Bitty Berries Icon Sprinkles onto my page. Gosh, they're adorable!!! I also included some of the Puffy Icons stickers as well. For some last details, I added in some tangled thread and white paint splatters.

Here's one last look at this Berry Cute page!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way. I'll see you in my next post friends!

BERRY SWEET SWEET FRIENDS MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Hey friends! Traci here and oh my goodness ... how stinkin' cute is the new Berry Sweet Collection?! I'm having so much fun with it and couldn't wait to share this adorable mini album titled Sweet Friends. It's perfect for pictures of your besties, your partners in crime, your posse, your favorite gal pals, and trusted sidekicks!

I started with the 6x8 Mini Album in ladybug. I ❤️ this shade of red so much and it's absolutely perfect with this collection. Mix it with a few fresh shades of green, some cute strawberries, and some pretty daisy flowers and you've got something pretty special!

To decorate the cover, I wanted to add the Berry Bouquet Doodle-pops but really make it stand out. So, I cut out a 3" clear acrylic circle for the base and layered ... a 3" scalloped circle punched from white card stock, a 2.5" circle of the Berry Sweet paper, and 2.25" circle from the colorful Sweet Spot print. Then, I added the Doodle-pops on top giving this cover lots of pretty dimension!

For the rest of the cover, I added prints from the 6x8 paper pad. I used the gingham print at the top, a thin strip of the ladybug polka dot in the center, and the adorable Strawberry Fields at the bottom.

To embellish, I added die cuts from the All The Things package. If you look closely, you'll also notice there are some of the 3D strawberry and flower stickers from the Berry Bouquet Doodle-pops mixed in there too!

Inside, there 20 scrapbook pages that I layered with more fabulous papers from the 6x8 paper pad. I love that the All the Things package has "all the things", LOL.  There is a mix of icons, words, phrases and so many little special bits and pieces to make your projects unbelievably sweet!

The colors on this page ... limeade, cupcake, and ladybug ... make me so happy!  And how cute is that little mouse peeking out from behind the plant?

You know I LOVE flippies so on this page I adhered one of the 4x4 cards to a white flip-up card for extra photo space.  Underneath, I added a piece of the pretty border paper layered on a piece of pistachio petite prints.  I like how a line of pistachio just peeks out from behind and mimics the border on the 4x4 card.

For my pocket page, I tucked two more 4x4 cards inside and I'll adhere photos to the back of these later.  The four circles in the All The Things package worked perfectly as little photo toppers.  I adhered one to the front and back of each white mat to add more cuteness!

I really enjoy coming up with fun ways to use the colorful pages that come in the album.  This time, I used two of the ladybug inserts to create a fold-out page with a pocket on the front.  I plan to add small photos to each of the tags, and inside there is space for two larger photos.

Well, I know I say it all the time when a new Doodlebug collection comes out, but wow!  This one is beyond adorable!  I hope you all have a "berry sweet" crafty day, and if you want to recreate my album, I will have a preorder for the kits in my shop tomorrow!  Stay tuned!!
