LOTS OF LOVE SO HAPPY TOGETHER LAYOUT | with Nathalie

It is time to celebrate all the things about love! And what better way than with the beautiful Lots of Love collection. I just love all the colors and designs in the collection, they are perfect to document all the things and people you love in such a cute way. Let me show you what I have created:

My daughter loves her little cousins, and the feeling is mutual. I just wanted to document them all together in their happiest moments.

I started by sticking to a small color palette ( white, teal, pink and fucshia). The patterned papers in the collection are just perfection, so it was all about playing with pieces of them to create a layered look for the page.

There is nothing happier than a rainbow to brighten a mood. I decided to combine pieces from the Odds and Ends pack, Stickers, and sprinkles to bring rainbows to the page. I clustered a few clouds and have rainbows peeking from them... just so cute!!!

Chit Chat pieces always make for the perfect title. And the design just worked to have the title placement on point. I repeated the cloud clusters, and added a few sparkles to complete the spread.

I hope this gives you a bit of inspiration to document all your love things with the gorgeous Lots of Love collection from Doodlebug. XO

LOTS OF LOVE POP UP CARDS | with Kathy

I have always loved creating fun papercrafts for Valentine's Day!  The Lots of Love collection makes it even more fun!  The colors, the critters... all of it... absolutely adorable.  I decided to make a couple of cute interactive pop up cards to send to friends... take a peek...

For each of these cards I used the Blue XOXO side of the Lots of Love double sided cardstock as my background.  I love the subtle pattern, and it looks like the sky!  For my first card I created a fun scene with some Icon Stickers... the cute little mailbox and that mail snail... eek!  When you open the card the adorable little birdie pops up!  The sentiment is from the Chit Chat pieces.

My second card uses my favorite Icon Sticker in the collection, the little bear holding heart balloons.  When you open the card, he floats up from the clouds.  I decorated the background with some clouds from the Odds & Ends and heart sprinkles.  The sentiment was put together using some chit chat pieces.  I love how the "you" is hidden until you open the card!

Since it's much more fun to watch interactive cards in action, I've added a quick video to my YouTube Channel which shows how they work.

Be sure to stop by the blog  this week for more Lots of Love inspiration!  Also if you have created any projects using Doodlebug Lots of Love, be sure to tag us on social media!  We love to see what you create!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

YOU COLOR MY WORLD MINI ALBUM | With Traci

Hey guys! Today, I'm sharing a new mini album that I made with the adorable Lots of Love Collection. It's perfect for your favorite photos and would make a wonderful handmade Valentine's Day gift. You could add photos of your sweetheart, your littles, friends, or anyone that's special to you. With so many gorgeous colors and tons of cuteness ... this collection is sure to make you smile!

To create this, I used one of my 4.5 x 7.5" clear acrylic scallop edge albums but you could easily use a heavier card stock for the covers instead.

On the front, I used a 3.5" scallop circle punch and a 3" circle punch to create the shape in the center. Then, I added pieces from the Odds & Ends and some enamel shape sprinkles. Love those little shiny stickers!!

Underneath the acrylic cover, I added more shape sprinkles and the title piece from Chit Chat. The strip of tiny flowers is from the 6x6 print called Sprinkled With Love and the rainbows are from the same 12x12 print.

The 3x4 cards in this collection are so cute, I decided to add one to the front of a flippie for the page above.

The mailbox and cute little bird fit perfectly on the pocket, which make this the perfect spot to tuck in a love note!

I also added some colorful petite prints throughout this mini. I used the dot & stripe, woodgrain, and the linen. These prints are such a staple in my craft room. I use them in everything.

Here's the small pocket for tags from the Just For You paper. You can add a little photo on the front and journal on the other side of the tags!

If you'd like to recreate this scrapbook, the acrylic album & instructions will be available in my shop tomorrow. I hope you have fun with the beautiful Lots of Love Collection and have a great day!

LOTS OF LOVE MINI ALBUM | with Erica

Hey friends! Erica here with you today to share a super sweet mini album using the Doodlebug Design Lots of Love collection.

I started this album by backing some adorable cut files from The Cut Shoppe. They are the perfect size for a mini album and I knew I wanted to bind the album together with my Cinch!

I backed the files with the pretty pattern papers in the 6x6 Lots of Love paper pad! Once I had all the files backed I started trimming down the 12x12 pattern papers from the same collection to create more pages for my album.

I knew I wanted to create a fun shaker page as well so I pulled out a piece of vellum from my stash. I folded it in half and then used my sewing machine to stitch the sides closed. I left the top open to add some fun sequins and then closed it up with more stitching.

This adds a fun and colorful element to the album. I added one of the chit chat titles to the bottom of this page and added a small heart sprinkle!

For one of the pages I used some heart dies to cut out some pattern paper and then a photo mat. Creating shaped photo mats adds some interest to your pages and also gets you using your metal dies!

Not every page in the album has to have photos and journaling! This next page is a background cut file and showcases a lot of the pretty papers and patterns in the collection! I added a large chit chat title to the bottom and embellished some of the hearts with floral die cuts from the Lots of Love bits and pieces pack.

I love how this album turned our and I can't wait to fill it up with photos and journaling!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Doodlebug Blog today! I hope you enjoyed my album filled with the Lots of Love collection!

LOTS OF LOVE TREAT BOXES | with Karen

I think it is safe to say that I am filled with LOVE for Doodlebug's Lots of Love collection! I am not even a huge fan of Valentine's day, but this collection has me wanting to create little love-themed treat containers for everyone in my life - even the ones I don't really like very much! You get a treat container, you get a treat container, you get a treat container! Yup - it makes me want to throw around crafty projects like confetti!

All-three-1

One of my all time favourite types of containers to create are pillow boxes. I love the shape, and I think it is awesome that they really show off both a sentiment and a cute character!

Closeup-1

For this set, I focused on little container characters and teamed them up with a banner type sentiment from Chit Chat. I purposely picked more generic sentiments so I can actually give these away any time of the year.

Closeup-2

And the new Puffy Shapes are an absolutely perfect addition. I actually placed them on the heart paper over top of some of the design to make it look like the paper is 3 dimensional.   But whether you use the heart paper or not, these make amazing embellishments together with Doodlebug classics like mini paperclips and mini doilies!

All-three-2

Yup- I definitely need to make some more! Who knew that even Doodlebug could convert this heartless Grinch! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,

LOTS OF LOVE VALENTINE CARDS | with Wanda

Hello my dear Doodlebug friends! Wanda here today to share some sweet Valentine cards I made with the fabulous Lots of Love Collection! This collection just makes me so happy! Valentine's Day is less than a month away now and Lots of Love has everything you need to make those heart themed cards and projects. I also need to announce that this will be my final post as a member of the Doodlebug Design Team! It's been a wonderful and lovely experience to create with you and for you over these past two years! So many projects and loads of happiness. THANK YOU DOODLEBUG! The owners of Doodlebug are absolutely the kindest and most generous people and it has been a joy to work with them! This design team is amazing and I have been honored to be a part of this team! Thank you for the love and support here as I've shared my love of crafting with you!! I have been a fan of Doodlebug for twenty years and I will continue to create with their fantastic products. You can always find me over on my blog if you want to say hello! Bless you! Now let's get to some cards!

I made two Valentine cards to share today. Both cards are A2 sized white card bases. I used the Lots of Love Collection papers, stickers, embellishments and ephemera to decorate some giant cupcakes. Because cupcakes are definitely sweet! I love the color palette of aqua, pink, dark pink and red. It's perfect!

20

I started with a die set that makes the giant cupcake (supplies listed at the bottom of my post) and I used 12x12 and 6x6 papers to die cut out the bottom and top of the cupcakes. I used kraft paper for the frosting portion. Then I went to town decorating the cupcakes with all kinds of smiling hearts and fruits! I die cut a white circle and attached some strawberries and a puffy heart onto it. I also added white gel pen accents and some mini jewels!

20

That little smiling cherry is SO cute!! I used the large 12x12 Lots of Love Sticker Sheet for the sentiments on both cards. I splattered on some white paint onto both cards also. I used patterned Doodlebug papers for the backgrounds of the cards.

He literally is the cherry on top! I think that adding white gel pen accents and little gems to the ephemera pieces just bring them to life! That little added touch. The cupcakes were attached to the cards using foam tape for a bit of dimension.

This reminds of of the happiest box of Valentine chocolates you could ever want!

Thank you again for allowing me into your crafty space to have some fun these past two years! It's been such a blast to share my love of Doodlebug with everyone. I will see you around I'm sure.... Stay crafty my friends! XO Wanda

DAY TO DAY AUGUST CALENDAR | with Kathy

Have you enjoyed the Design Team's Day to Day inspiration?  There are so many ways to use this collection... you can use it as a planner, a way to document your memories... they would even make a fabulous calendar gift with photos for friends and family!  I'm completing our posts with the month of August!  Summer is a fun time in our world... we spend our weekends with friends and family on the water! Again, I used the Day to Day collection as a way to document our activities.  Take a peek...

I used elements from the Seaside Summer Collection to embellish my calendar.  I also used my Insta photo trick, as I did on my July Calendar.  It's really easy to get this look.  I printed my photos 1.5" square.  I then cut papers from the Seaside Summer 6x6 pad and some petite prints to be 1.875" x 2.25", and then positioned my photo on the upper part of the paper to get the look.

The great part of these calendars is there is a lot of space to "play."  You can decorate the top banner of the page, and also the blank days of your calendar.  I used the water stamp from the Seaside Summer Doodle Stamps and some fish from the Mini Icons to add some fun to the open space.

In addition to the Mini Icons, I used a lot of the Seaside Summer Puffy Stickers to add some dimension to my layout.  That board was the perfect way to embellish the photos of my daughter & her boyfriend paddleboarding!

The word stickers on the This and That Cardstock Stickers are perfect as captions for your photos! And that margarita puffy sticker... perfection!

I added a bit more color to the bottom banner using one of the 12" stickers from the This & That Sheet.
I've had so much fun with these calendars. So much so that I'm planning a 2023 album featuring a page a month!  I think it would be a fun way to keep up with my monthly scrapbooking!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

DAY TO DAY JUNE CALENDAR | with Lisa

Planning gals... this is something you're really going to like! :) I've been a planner girl for years myself and I love to plan my week, write down my to-dos and just have an overview of what is going on during the current week. I also LOVE to use stickers and cool pens and soooo, this new collection, called Day to Day, is just the right thing for me.  Here's my spread for June. It's my birthday month, so it's my favorite month of course, haha :)

The great thing is, that none of the sheets are dated. They are all blank, so you can use them for whichever month and year you want. The monthly sheets exist in a rainbow of pretty Doodlebug colors and they are all dotted, which I think is super cute.

The boxes are all big enough to write down a lot of info, plus they have a grid design, which makes it easier to write.

In this photo you can see the Day to Day Month and Number stickers. To embellish, you can use stickers from your favorite Doodlebug collections!(and there are more than enough for each theme, season, holiday)!

For my spread, I used the Bubblegum Day to Day Calendar  and the stickers from the Seaside Summer collection. I love to use PaperMate Flair Pens to write in my calendars or planners. There are tons of possibilities with this new planning system and I really like it! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
Thank you so much for stopping by,
