Hello Doodlebug fans! Jennifer here and today I'm sharing a project using Doodlebug's new
Slam Dunk collection. For this project I decided to try making a fun hanging mobile, for a basketball fan I know.
For the ring of the mobile, the outer edge of a round paper mache box lid was used. The ring was covered on both sides with patterned papers from the collection.
Chunky white
twine was also used on the outside of the ring to add a little texture.
For the title of the piece, the word "shoot" was cut from patterned paper and attached to a hand cut flag, additional basketballs were mounted to chipboard and glued to the word, along with star stickers.
The flag was then attached to the front of the ring.
To hold the ring, die-cuts and chipboard pieces together a super strong bead weaving thread was used. Here are some close-ups of the finished mobile.
Thanks for checking out my project. Happy Crafting!
