BEE HAPPY STUFFED ENVELOPE TAG FLIP MINI | with Niella

Buzz right on in crafty crew, so happy to see you today! The starting of a new month means new crafty projects, let's get into it! I am so happy to show you my second Bee Happy project with the sweetest bee mini collection to date! This envelope stack is super adorable! And the best bit is, you can use any three envelope sizes!  They'll look just as cute once decorated and stuffed with goodies to gift! There is a video showcase at the end to see it in motion.  Yay!

The first envelope measures 4"x6.5" (body 4") and is created from the sweet bee-utiful patterned paper.  I have a tutorial on my YouTube channel if you'd like to make your own or if you have an envelope making board that is fine as well. I've made matching greeting cards inside the first two envelopes which you'll see my open in my video.

The middle envelope is so stinkin' cute, don't you agree! It's made from my favorite patterned paper bee happy and this envelope measures 5"x8" (body 5.5"). Look at that delightful beehive home.  Don't make too much noise, baby bee is zzzzz! Cutie!

I loved decorating my envelope tag flip. Because this Bee Happy collection is a mini collection, the ephemera pack is super handy as All The Things because there is such a fun variety of ephemera pieces all in one packet, so darling!

The back envelope is simple and secretly stores a gift.  How pleased would you be to get some Bee Happy Doodle Stamps! This envelope could hold photos, journaling and gift cards! So many ideas.  It measures 6"x9" (body 6.2")

Thank you again for visiting crafty crew! I hope you've found inspiration today! Please remember to tag us in our your Socials when you create with Doodlebug so we can all admire your creativity! We love seeing your creations. Until next time; doodle doo!

BEE HAPPY GIFT BAGS | with Tya

Hi crafty friends! It’s been a little while since I made any treat bags, and oh boy—I forgot just how fun they are to create! There’s something extra sweet about putting together a little handmade bag, especially when I get to use my beloved Doodlepops! (You know how much I love those little cuties!) This time, I couldn’t resist diving into the Bee Happy collection. It’s bright, it’s cheerful, and it’s bursting with the sweetest little icons—perfect for spring, summer, or any time you want to add a little sunshine to someone’s day.

These mini bags are not just cute—they’re also super versatile! Fill them with candy, gift cards, small party favors, or even tuck in a handmade note. They’d be perfect for birthdays, thank-you gifts, classroom treats, or just because.

A Closer Look at Each Bag:

 “Happy Bee-day” Bag:

This cheerful yellow bag starts with a yellow  Textured cardstock base layered with a fun plaid patterned paper from the 6x8 paper pad. I added a scalloped circlet that is from the Doodle Cuts Nesting Scallops die cuts and stitched a white circle behind the star of the show—an adorable Bee Happy Doodlepop! Around him, I tucked in a couple of mushrooms, florals, and a leaf sticker for a sweet little garden scene. The “Happy Bee-day!” sentiment strip from the All the Things die cuts was paired with a couple of small white Puffy Sticker hearts. These make the perfect playful touch to finish it off.

 “My Honey” Bag:

This one might be my favorite (shhh, don’t tell the others!). The background features bold diagonal stripes layered behind the scalloped circle. I placed the darling My Honey Doodlepop front and center, paired with a honey jar and his tiny bee friend. The die cut that says “my honey” adds just the right amount of sweetness, along with a few heart embellishments. Notice the little flower clothespin at the top? These are from the Mini Clothespins and tied with some Doodle Twine and a tiny flower from the Puffy Stickers.

“Cute as Can Bee” Bag:

This minty fresh bag was so fun to make! The star here is Honey Bees Shaker Pops  (yes, SHA-KER!) with tiny yellow beads inside that wiggle when you shake it. I layered it over some black gingham 6x8 paper and framed it with the scalloped and stitched circle die cuts. A couple more bumble bees from the  Doodlepop added some dimension and charm. I finished it off with the “cute as can bee” sentiment strip—because honestly, it really is!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope these happy little bags brought a smile to your face—and maybe even sparked a little creative inspiration. If you haven’t already buzzed over to pick up the Bee Happy collection, now’s the perfect time. You’re going to fall in love with every last detail!

Until next time—stay sweet, stay crafty, and bee happy!

OVER THE RAINBOW - RAINBOW BOX | with Miguel

Working with the Over the Rainbow collection is so much fun, and it completely changes your mood when you see all the collection's designs and colors!  It inspired me to make this colorful box.

I made this box to store this beautiful rainbow Post-It Note Pad, which is definitely perfect for this collection!

I decorated my box with Odds & Ends and Chit Chats and added Shape Sprinkles to give those touches of shine that I like so much.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope my work inspires you. See you soon!

FAIRY GARDEN HAIR CLIPS | with Miguel

Looking through my craft stash, I found some felt.  I thought it would be a fun idea to create some cute hair clips for girls using the Fairy Garden Collection.

I made them by cutting flowers in 2 contrasting felt colors with my Sizzix Big Shot and a flower die from my stash.  For my flower centers I added a button I made with stickers and my Button Maker.

I thought it would be a fun gift to give if I packaged the clips up in a fun way.  I altered a plastic watering can, which I decorated with products from Fairy Garden  Collection.

I hope you like this nice idea and put it into  practice  for you girl's. I say goodbye and once again thanks for reading.

MADE WITH LOVE RECIPE BOOK | with Wanda

Hello! Today I'm excited to share a fun recipe book I made with the awesome Made With Love Collection! This recipe book would make the perfect gift for the favorite baker in your life. I used the Doodlebug Recipe Cards and lots of other goodies from the new Made With Love Collection. I spiral bound it once it was all done. The finished size is 6.5" x 4/5".  You Bake Me Happy!

1

I added lots of small touches to the front cover - using the Odds n Ends and Chit Chat pieces. I embellished with tiny paperclips, a doily, some stickers and Sprinkles!

2

I added a small strip of white cardstock to the left side of the cute Recipe Cards to allow for the holes for the binding. The Recipe Cards are adorable!

4

I used chipboard to make the cover and then layered my patterned papers on top of the chipboard. Gives it a solid feel!

6

Here's the finished front cover!

7

The next few photos will show you some of the inside pages. I ended up doing ten recipe cards and then four other creative pages to add flair!

I made my own charms to add on to the book by die cutting some small scalloped circles and then using the adorable Sprinkles. I tied them on with chunky twine. The finishing touch!

Milk & Cookies: Christmas Gift Trio by Wendy Sue

Hi there Doodlebug friends!  It's Wendy Sue here today, sharing a set of cute Christmas packages I whipped up with the fabulous new "Milk & Cookies" collection!  I'm always needing cute little boxes and bags for small gifts and gift cards and treats, so I was excited to get a jump start on my stash this year!  Here's a look at the set:

I'd love to share the details with you! Let's start with the Chimney/Santa gift box:

I think these two papers might be my favorite in the whole collection - I mean, come on, a Chimney with Santa on top?!? cuuuute!

I added foam adhesive behind the sticker, then embellished with chunky twine, a big Santa from the ephemera pack, and three sparkly glitter sprinkles!

Next up is the Tree print gift bag:

I used a Silhouette cut file for this sweet little gift bag.  Again, I tied with chunky twine and added a sticker to the front with foam adhesive for dimension.

Isn't that little tree so sweet?  It looks like it took a lot of work, but guess what?!? It's a doodle-pop and ALL the work was done for me!  Those cute little ornaments, the layering, all of it!  All I had to do was peel and stick! ;)

Finally, here's the cutest little milk carton gift box ever!

Again, I cut the box with my Silhouette, tied it with chunky twine, and added a sticker to the front with foam adhesive squares.

As far as embellishment, I had to add the milk and cookies from the ephemera pack, of course!

Oh, and did you happen to notice that little banner in the background?  It's simply triangles cut from the 6x6 paper pad with holes punched in the corners and connected with doodle twine!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today - I hope you're inspired to create some cute gift packaging with the "Milk & Cookies" collection!

Yankee Doodle Collection: Treat Buckets by Wendy Sue Anderson

Hi Doodlebug friends!  It's Wendy Sue here today, sharing my latest Doodlebug project: Yankee Doodle treat buckets for the 4th of July!  We always have some extra time while we're waiting for the big fireworks show, so I thought these little treat buckets, stuffed with themed goodies, would be fun to make for everyone.  They would also be great for little neighbor or friend gifts too!  No need to wait for dark on the 4th, enjoy them anytime between now and the fun night!

I started by cutting the buckets with my Silhouette.  You can search for your favorite 3-D bucket shape in their store.  When you cut it out, be sure to choose papers that have great patterns on the front AND back because you'll be able to see both!

After I cut out and assembled each paper bucket, I added a strip of coordinating washi tape across the top of each bucket.  Then I cut three of the 4x4 cards from one of the patterned papers.  After that, I just started adding odds & ends, stickers, sprinkles, doodle-pops, and more!

Here's a closer look at the front of each paper bucket:

I'm excited to share these fun little treat buckets with my little patriotic crew next week. I hope I've inspired you to whip up some fun little 4th of July treat buckets too!
