Hey friends, Brianna here today sharing another layout using the Bunny Hop collection. My girl had the time of her life hunting for eggs this year and I couldn't wait to scrapbook it! Here's my page:
I LOVE creating little scenes using the adorable Doodlebug collections, especially the Bunny Hop one! The bunnies, eggs and florals are all so perfect to create a scene with. For my base, I selected the Bunny Hop 12x12 paper since I loved the stripes. I took a piece of textured white cardstock, trimmed it to an 11x12 and then adhered it to the striped paper. I then took the Spring Sprouts 12x12 paper, trimmed it down as well and then cut into it with my fringed scissors to mimic grass. For some extra color and a floral look, I did the same thing with the B side of that paper and adhered it right behind my grass. I love the texture it adds to my layout!
I then took my photo and tucked it into the fringed layers, I love how it looks like my daughter is sitting in the grass! I then built up the background using a few of the larger floral die cuts from the Bits and Pieces pack and then also adhered quite a few of the Cardstock Icons stickers directly onto the grass paper. The soft colors and adorable icons couldn't be anymore perfect for this scene!
For my title, I chose 'Easter Eggs' from the Chit Chat pack and centered it towards the bottom of my scene. Before I adhered it down, I chose the Pastel Plaid Washi Tape and added a strip to go underneath it. I then added some Puffy Icons stickers around my title to highlight it a bit more. I also chose that adorable Honey Bunny Doodle-Pop and stuck it right next to my photo. She's wearing a pink dress like my Sunny girl so it was the perfect choice!
Next, I added in some smaller embellishments and filled in my scene a bit more by including a few of the Colored Egg Shape Sprinkles as well as some of the smaller Puffy Icons flower stickers.
