DOGGONE CUTE YOU HAD ME AT WOOF | With Traci

Hey scrappers! Traci here and today, I have a 12x12 scrapbook page to share with of . It's a simple layout idea for saving 3 of your adorable dog's photos. I used the Doggone Cute Collection that's filled with bright happy colors and lots of fun pattern papers. Check it out ...

12x12 Doggone Cute Scrapbook Page by Artsy Albums

Doodlebug colors are amazing and I wanted to use a lot of these prints. So, I chose 7 and used smaller pieces of each. That way, it's not too busy and I got to use some leftover scraps from my dog album.

12x12 Doggone Cute Scrapbook Page made with scraps

I started with a 12x12 white piece of cardstock for the base. Then I cut 24 strips (each 1/4") from the 12x12 papers & staggered their lengths. I also cut a 1/4" black piece to of as a spacer when gluing them down.

I added little puffy hearts at the bottom of each strip. I love puffy stickers and how they add a little dimension to the page. I use them on everything!

On the lower half of the page, I added the blue Good Boy print and the scalloped border sticker from the This & That sheet. Then, I cut 3 photo mats (3.5"x 3.5") out of the yellow polka dot print called Man's Best Friend.

There are so many cute embellishments in this collection to choose from! The dogs, the dog bowl, and the grass are from the Odds & Ends. The "you had me at woof" is from the Chit Chat and the little orange tennis ball is from the mini icon stickers.

I hope my layout inspires you to use your own scrap pieces and have fun being creative with the Doggone Cute Collection. Happy crafting!

DOGGONE CUTE I LOVE MY PUPPY LAYOUT | with Erica

We are having the best time with our new puppy Apollo and I have so many photos of his adventures! The Doggone Cute collection is perfect to document our sweet and very curious Apollo!

I had 6 photos of our curious little guy that I snapped when he jumped up to see what I was working on one night in my office. He has the cutest little face and he did try to run off with some scraps of paper. I knew a grid layout would be a great way to document these sweet photos!

I started with the playful plaid 12x12 paper from the Doggone Cute collection as my base and adhered this fun Scallop Background Cut file. I love the little detail it adds around the layout. Next I layered a 11x11 piece of Blue Jean Candy Stripe-Sprinkles Petite Prints.

Each white square is 2.50" x 2.50" and the pattern paper mat is 2 3/8" x 2 3/8". All of my photo mats are 2" x 2" and popped up on foam adhesive.

I embellished around each square with Doggone Cut icon stickers, odds & ends, chit chat pieces and sprinkles!

Grid designs are a great way to create multi-photo layouts! You can add a lot of fun color and pattern on one 12x12 layout and document a ton of photos! I love adding little details around each square on the grid!

I added 6 photos to my grid but this design has room for 16 photos! That is a lot of photos on one layout!

To finish up my layout I created my title with chit chat pieces from the Doggone Cute collection.

Thank you so much for stopping by the Doodlebug Blog today! I hope you are inspired to create using this grid design! I would love to see how many photos you can get on one 12x12 layout!

DOGGONE CUTE STAMPED CARDS | with Karen

It is stampin' time! The only thing I love more than stamping is my pooch Watson (okay, there may be a few other people/things as well), so you can imagine my excitement this morning as I sat down to create some new cards with Doodlebug's Doggone Cute collection.
  All-three-1
This time around, I wanted to feature the adorable stamp set that coordinates with this collection. Doggone Cute, the stamp set, is filled with adorable pup images that you can mix and match. I teamed them up with some of the coordinating Cards & Envelopes and the 6x6 patterned paper simply because the scale on the patterns is perfect for card making.
  Closeup-1
I did some simple masking to add a few stamps together here - just a puppy, bunch of grass and little ball.
  Closeup-2
But you can create something more complex too. Here I masked the pup that is in a doghouse with a tree, bone and blade of grass for a slightly bigger scene that worked better on a larger card base.
  All-three-2
Embellish it all up with some Doodle twine and some mini paper clips and these cards do the collection name justice - they are just doggone cute! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,

DOGGONE CUTE I LOVE MY PUPPY LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey there friends! Brianna Lepper back with you today and I'm so happy to share another layout using the Doggone Cute collection. If you know me, you know I LOVE our dogs and I take photos of them daily. There's no shortage of doggie photos over here! Here's my layout:

On my last layout, I used the 6x6 paper pad and for this one, I decided to use a few of the 12x12 papers. I went with the Man's Best Friend, The Neighborhood and Speak! papers and layered them on a piece of white cardstock. I tore into them at an angle and before I adhered them down, I added in a bit of mixed media by water coloring some Distress Oxide Ink in Prize Ribbon right in the center of my page. Super simple but it gives the design a little something extra.

I've been wanting to use some of the adorable Doodle Pops in this collection and thought the Happy Home piece fit perfectly to the upper left corner of my photo. How cute is that pup hanging out in its dog house?! I also layered a few Odds & Ends behind it.

I matted my photo using the 6x6 paper pad and popped it up on foam tape. I then chose a phrase from the Chit Chat pack for my title and got that adhered down. My photo is of me and my girl Pippa. We rescued her when we were stationed in Hawaii and she's always been Mama's Girl! No matter how much older she gets, she will always be my little baby.

I thought it would be fun to build some embellishment clusters to the left and right of my title. There are some really cute jar/canister pieces in the Odds & Ends pack, so I started my clusters using those. I popped a few other pieces up on foam tape and layered them in.

Here's the embellishment cluster on the right. I added in a few of the Primary Assortment Sprinkles for some extra pops of color and also included a few Fur Babies Shape Sprinkles. They're so adorable!

I love looking at all of the layers on this page. Adding foam tape to different embellishments really adds a lot of interest to your designs!

Here's one last look at this Doggone Cute layout!! I know I've said this in my last post, but I love the bright and happy colors in this collection. So fun!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way! See you in my next post friends.

DOGGONE CUTE BEST FRIENDS LAYOUT | with Tarrah

Do you have super cute puppy and toddler photos? If you answered yes, then you NEED the Doggone Cute collection! I mean how gorgeous are these products to document these kinds of photos?! Cuteness Overload!

I decided on a horizontal design for my layout today and started with a plain white cardstock background, I trimmed down the white cardstock to 11' x 11' and adhered it to the Man's Best Friend 12' x 12' paper. I then chose some Odds and Ends die-cuts to layer underneath and alongside my photo, I love to layer smaller die-cuts on top of larger die-cuts.

At the very top of the layout, I took the 12' scalloped border sticker with the paws on it from the This and That Cardstock Sticker sheet and placed it here, I love how that looks at the top with the colorful paws!

I adhered my photo using craft foam to create some dimension on my layout and I also added craft foam underneath the XOXO as well. To add some texture to my layout, I tied some bows through the holes in the tags using some Doodle Twine in Lily White.

Some of the smaller elements I added to my layout were Sprinkles, This and That cardstock stickers, Doodle Pops, Puffy Shapes and Mini Icon stickers. One of the signature things I add to all of my layouts is the date stamp of when the photo was taken. I added this under the Best Friends title.

Thanks for stopping by today! I would love to see what you have created using the Doggone Cute collection! Be sure to share your gorgeous creations on Instagram and Facebook!  Happy creating!

DOGGONE CUTE STAR EMBELLISHMENTS | with Niella

Hey there crafty crew! Thanks for visiting today! I'm here to showcase some of the cutest star embellishments using the totally RUFF-able Doggone Cute collection! It is everything furry friendly and lovable.

Each of these stars is 5 inches and the inner star is 4.5 inches, so you can recreate these with a star die or template of a different shape. How about circles or a rectangle with the top sides trimmed to look like a wee dog kennel. You could even do tags!

I grabbed my stash of Chunky Twine and with several lengths I've coiled them and glued them down with tacky glue. Once dry you simply start to decorate to your hearts desire. The extra texture from the twine gives each ornament depth and interest.

For the clustered accents, I've used the Icon stickers from the collection and adhered each sticker by backing onto a self adhesive foam square. Using foam makes sure the accents "pop" out or stay evenly on the twine.

There are so many fun and bold colours in this collection so to keep it fun I used the patterned papers from both the 12x12 individual papers and also the 6x6 paper pad. Aww, look at all those sweet puppy love faces.

I've also added the cute speech bubbles from the Chit Chat ephemera pack and the wee stickers from the Mini Icon sheet! Fur baby lovin'!

For extra details, I've used some Shape Sprinkles - I'm going crazy over the cuteness of the bath time star embellishment, how cute is that rubber duckie as well! .

Ideas for these stars are as gift tags, accents on your greeting cards or memory keeping like travel notebooks or scrapbooking. Or making some for your crafty stash for gifts or 3D projects. Simply add pop dots and stick!

So go on and make your doggone happy + fun star embellishments and don't forget to share and tag us on your socials so we can marvel at your creative talents! Stay PAW-some y'all and until next time; doodle-doo!

DOGGONE CUTE MINI ALBUM | with Lisa

For me, scrapping dog photos is a bit hard... First, I don't have a dog, so I don't really have dog photos and second, often dog collections have more masculine colors and those who know me, know that I love pink and girly colors...lol. But I think I managed to make a very cool dog themed mini album with the lovely Doggone Cute collection.

To start this album, I cut apart the 12 little cards on the Good Boy paper. I used the 8 cards that were vertical.  To each card, I attached a little white 3x1 inch tab, that I scored and folded through the middle.

I then created the base for the album, using very thick cardboard wrapped with papers from the collection. I took a piece of cardstock that was slightly smaller than the cardboard piece and cut 8 parallel slits into it, leaving 1cm (around 1/2 inch) between each slit. I slid the tab of each card into one of the slots and adhered it on the back. Then, I adhered the whole piece (cardstock rectangle plus all the cards) to my cardboard base. That way, I was able to have all of the cards, one on top of the other, cascading.

I went through all the cards and used lots of embellishments on them. I used Chit Chat pieces, Odds & Ends, sprinkles and shaped sprinkles, Doodle Pops, puffy stickers, cardstock stickers...  everything!

For the cover, I used acetate. I cut a long rectangle and scored it at 1inch and at 2 inches, then I folded it. I attached it to the back using double sided tape.

I wanted to embellish the cover and I chose to do it with embroidery thread. I used five of the colors from the collection and I wrapped each color around the cover 4 times. I used the colors in rainbow order, so it looks very cool. Then I also added puffy sticker paws and enamel stars in each color. At the top of the cover, I added a Shaker Pop and at the bottom, I added two circles that I attached using a brad, for the closure of the album. I added a piece of thread behind the album and sandwiched the end of the thread between two puffy stickers.

Last but not least, I added an eyelet to the spine of the album and added the amazing I Love My Dog just cute clip

I think the album is very cute and and amazing gift! I hope you had fun discovering the process of this album and I will see you soon.
