For this project, I was in the mood to create some cards. What I really love about the Doodlebug collections, is that there is a matching card pack with every collection. So no need to create a card base before you start, you just grab one of the cards in the pack and start embellishing.

MY HAPPY PLACE ORGANIZER BOX | with Miguel
I am a big fan of the houses in the My Happy Place Collection, so today I have a second wooden house that I altered using the collection. The steps are very easy, I started by painting a wooden house with black acrylic paint. Once painted, I selected the papers that we will use to give color and fun to my piece .

MY HAPPY PLACE FOREVER LAYOUT | with Nathalie
I am loving My Happy Place collection so much! It is so perfect for everyday documenting, and all those sweet homemade moments. Today, I want to share a new project that showcases the lovely colors and patterns of this collection.
I love the patterns in this collection. For this page, I am using the Cozy Spot patterned paper to create the top fold of this page. Then backed the space with the Enjoy The Ride patterned paper. Just love the contrast in color and style.
I am using Chit Chat pieces -at the bottom of the pictures- to create the title for my page. I am repeating the embellishment cluster next to the title.
To finish my page, I repeated the cluster at the bottom of the page. This just caps the page completely. The final details are a bit of Matte Sprinkles around each of the clusters.
I hope that you are loving the new My Happy Place collection. Remember to share your projects with us!! XO

MY HAPPY PLACE CHIT CHAT LAYOUT | with Erica
What do you do with leftover chit chat pieces? Today I am using my large title chit chats on one 12x12 scrapbook layout using the My Happy Place collection!
I took some photos of my brother in law and his girls recently and I could not wait to document them! The My Happy Place collection was perfect to pair with this photos! I am using one of my favorite papers in this collection as my base! I just love the black scallop border around the page the the black polka dots!
I printed out 5 photos sized about 2.75x2.75 and matted them on papers from the My Happy Place 6x6 paper pad. This design is a fun grid style but has a fun play with the chit chats in this collection!
I laid out all the photos and chit chat title pieces I have left over onto my base. I adhered the photos directly to the pattern paper and popped up the chit chat pieces with foam adhesive.
I used some My Happy Place odds & ends, mini icon stickers and sprinkles to embellish around each photo! I kept it clean and simple and I love how it turned it out! The black in this collection really helps things pop off the page!
Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! I hope I gave you some inspiration on how to use up some leftover chic chat title pieces! Have a great day!

MY HAPPY PLACE GARDEN GIRL STAMPED CARDS | with Karen
Up until this last fall, my happy place was at the crafting table. But this last year, I have found a second happy place - in the garden! I usually kill almost everything I grow, but this last year, my appreciation for growing plants from seed has, well, blossomed! So Doodlebug's - My Happy Place collection is just that much more special for me.
For this project, I decided to mix my old favourite hobby - colouring stamps - with my new favourite hobby by featuring the adorable "Garden Girl" plant-themed stamps on a set of cards. There are so many awesome plants to chose from and they are the perfect size to mix and match on A2 cards.
I actually decided to have some fun with them by fussy cutting and layering one stamped image on the top of the identical image. Each plant is glued at the part where the plant meets the pot and left loose on top of that for dimension.
I then attached the pot separately with some foam adhesive to make it look like the plant was coming out from inside the pot.
I really love how these turned out - it was definitely worth the time it took to double stamp/colour and cut our each image! Truth be told, although my real plants have a new place in my heart, these ones are a whole lot more dependable and a whole lot easier to give away! I hope you have as much fun with yours as I have had with mine! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,
