SEASIDE SUMMER DOWN BY THE SEASHORE LAYOUT | with Tarrah

Have a lil surfer or water lover in your life? The gorgeous Seaside Summer collection is perfect to document these memories! My niece is showing off her clever surfing skills, the Seaside Summer collection was perfect to capture this cute memory!

The patterned papers in the Seaside Summer collection are so super cute! I knew I wanted to use a few of them on my layout so I decided on a pie chart design, choosing a pie chart cut file and cutting it from white cardstock, I then added 8 of the different patterned papers behind each of the 'slices of pie', once the slices were all backed, I trimmed down the white cardstock and adhered it on to the Surf's Up patterned paper. I then used my black journal pen to free-hand draw some fake stitches around the pie.

I absolutely LOVE the Sea Friends washi tape!! I added a piece of this to the top left corner and bottom right corner of the layout. I placed my photo on the right side of the middle of the pie chart, layering some of the Bits and Pieces on both the left and right of the photo. I adhered my photo down with craft foam to add dimension. Over on the left of the layout, I added one of the large palm trees from the Bits and Pieces pack also using craft foam.

The other Doodle Pops that I added were the gorgeous sea creatures from the Shore is Fun pack, don't they look cute on my page?! When I saw the fish puffy stickers, I knew that I just had to add some on top of my layout, I love how they look!

Who doesn't love Doodle Pops right? They are sooo super cute and perfect embellishments for your projects! I added the boat to the bottom right corner of the photo and the sun and cloud from the same pack up in the sun paper quadrant, the title of the layout was also adhered under the photo, I chose the 'Down by the Seashore' piece also from the Bits and Pieces pack. I added some of the words and phrases from the This and That sticker sheet to help tell the story of my layout.

SEASIDE SUMMER - SUMMER MEMORIES MINI ALBUM | with Niella

Hi crafty crew! We've hit mid July already! How time flies when you're a crafter! Time to prep for the up coming holidays with a mini album! Nothing is more fun than documenting the small details and reading back on them years later. Come check out my adventure packed Summer mini album. Super duper cute! Complete with a video flip through at the end ;-)

This album size is 6x3" and have randomly placed tabs one the end with generic words. How fun, right?! I loved grabbing the This & That sticker sheet for this! As there are so many cute papers, you'll have fun choosing the paper you'll want to include. Be warned, they're all adorable.

As Seaside Summer is an earlier release, you probably already have this in your stash! Now is the time to use it - but not too worry if you don't as you can use any collection you wish. Yay!

I love how this collection comes with the matching cardstock pack as well. Doodlebug has done all the hard work and selected the best coordinating cardstock for you! I've had so much fun going through all the cuteness this collection has. Look at all the sweet ocean creatures and how adorable is the food truck and that ice cream cart? Yes please!

SEASIDE SUMMER BANNER SHAPED ALBUM | with Tya

Hello there! I hope you are all having a wonderful summer so far! I am dreaming of a tropical vacation, and what better way to prepare for it than making a cute mini album to add all the pictures to! I made this super fun banner-shaped album and used the fun and summery "Seaside Summer" collection!

 

To put this together I chose some of my favorite pattern papers from the collection and cut various banner sizes ute. The smallest banner is about 2 1/2 x 4 inches and then I just added half an inch to both measurements to get the various-sized banners.

As you can see, this little album is decorated up using all the different embellishments like the Chit Chat die cuts, the Bits and Pieces die cuts, and stickers galore!

The collection comes with the most beautiful color palette and icons! How fun is this Toucan die cut, layered on a scallop circle die cut? Add a few circle photos and you have one cute page!

This album is the perfect size for using the cute cut-apart cards in the collection like I did here. It's fun to layer up these cards like I did with stickers!

It's also really fun to add a pocket page to the album. Here is a great spot to tuck more cut-aparts, a journal spot, or 2 and more photos!

The last page is big enough to fit a 5x7 photo! I loved the palm tree die cuts so I had to add one on this page!

SEASIDE SUMMER GIFT BOX | with Miguel

Summer holidays are approaching so I made a beautiful gift with a summer theme. It is a box created with cardboard and acetate and decorated with the Seaside Summer collection!

I created the box to hold a fun glass for a delicious summer drink! It's perfect to bring to the beach to beat the heat!  I decorated the box with the Sai-ebrate Good Times Doodle Pop and puffy icons.

Around the box I placed some Sea Friends washi tape, look how beautiful it is! I also added some Surfs up paper to make it more beachy!

SEASIDE SUMMER TROPICAL VACATION LAYOUT | with Nathalie

Summertime in the city is fun, but Summertime at a beach is a dream! The warm weather, and yearning for a vacation had me pull the beautiful Seaside Summer collection to document a memory from one of our tropical vacations with our family.

How cute is this page!?! And it came together so easily, it took -literally- a short time. I simply let the embellishments and papers work their magic here.

I started by trimming my cardstock to 10.5x12 in, then added pieces from the Let's Luau paper to the left and right side of the page. I added the long scalloped sticker to the left of the page. I then added the small stamp seal from the Chit Chat pack and a few extra embellishments to the top edge of this side. The flower Sprinkles bring an extra pop of the tropics to this corner of the page.

I backed the photo with papers from the collection, and set it a bit to the right on the center of the page. Since the sea is to the left of the photo, I decided to extend the water feel by adding a few embellishments to the left of the photo.

I layered lots of embellishments from the collection to the right of the photo. I wanted a large cluster that would hug the right edge of the photo. I started with the tag, then the flowers, and to finish the palm trees in the background. The cluster gave me the perfect spot for a title. Once again, I am using Chit Chat, stickers, and more Doodle Pops to complete the large cluster look on this spread.

I finished my page by adding a few Sprinkles to the page. I just love how it turned out! The beautiful SEASIDE SUMMER collection is sure to bring a taste of paradise to your projects. XO

SEASIDE SUMMER WINDOW FLIP CARD | with Kathy

Have you ever seen a design and said, "I can make that!"  Well that's what I did for this fun Window Flip Card featuring the Seaside Summer Collection! I needed a birthday card and was looking on line for inspiration.  I found this card design by @gayatriscrafts on Instagram.  She didn't give measurements, so I sat down with my Silhouette and created a slimline sized cut file based on her design.  Take a peek....

This is the front of the card.  I made a fun ocean scene using the Seaside Summer goodies!  I love the Puffy Icons, they really make things pop!  I combined them with some Icon stickers, Shaped Sprinkles, Textured Cardstock and the coral die and Jawsome Sentiment from the Sea Life Doodle Stamps.

Now for the fun part... when you pull up on the top of the frame, you get a whole new scene! 

I had fun making layers of sea critters!  They are so cute!

At the very bottom I used another sentiment from the Sea Life Doodle Stamps.  This design is so fun, you could also use it to display/send little photos to friends as sort of a card mini album!  Here's a short video of the card in action...

SEASIDE SUMMER SUMMER MEMORIES ALBUM | with Conny

Hey everyone, It's Conny here! I'm thrilled to share some summer inspiration with you using the Seaside Summer Collection. I've put together a mini album that's just perfect for capturing all the best moments of the season. I always find creating a base for tag mini-albums a lot of fun and it adds an extra layer of excitement

Let's dive in! First, I cut three chipboard pieces: two measuring 4 1/4 x 6 inches and one measuring 1 1/2 x 6 inches. I covered the chipboard pieces with the Surf's Up 12 x 12 paper. I trimmed two pieces to 6 x 8 inches to cover the chipboard, and for the spine, I used the bon bon cardstock paper from the coordinating cardstock and cut it to 5 x 8 inches to join the base of the album together.  Inside the base is where your pages/tags will be added!

Inside the cover, I added a small pocket to hold extra tags or photos measuring 4 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches. I scored it at half an inch on the sides and bottom, leaving the top open.  I embellished the cover using cardstock stickers, mini jewels, and Doodle-Pops to give it a creative and personalized look.

Here you can see that the pages are easily removable for added convenience or for working on them. I'm also thinking of adding some pockets.

I also added a cute bead charm that I created at the top of the pages, just for a little fun.

I chose a stylish gold binder ring to keep the pages neatly organized, which can hold extra pages if necessary. The album consists of 10 pages, each measuring 5 3/4 x 4 inches. Additionally, I added a special touch to the album by including 3 x 4 journaling cards from the summer shell-ebration 12 x 12 paper, which are perfect for journaling.

I made sure to include a variety of embellishments inside the album pages, such as puffy icons, cardstock stickers, mini icons, Doodle-pops, die cuts, and more.

I'm really looking forward to seeing all of the creative projects that everyone comes up with using the Seaside Summer Collection.
