HEY PUMPKIN SPOOKY NIGHT DOUBLE PAGE LAYOUT | with Inessa

Halloween is one of my favorite themes to scrapbook, especially when it involves all the bright colors and adorable little characters from Doodlebug Design! Today, I'm sharing a fun and colorful double-page layout featuring the Hey Pumpkin collection. This collection is packed with the cutest Halloween icons, playful patterns, and just the right amount of spooky!

For this layout, I started by mixing and matching several patterned papers to create the backgrounds. I love how the colorful diagonal stripes contrast with the black star-filled paper, making everything pop! I used the Eek! patterned paper to create my photo mats, which tie the two pages together and provide the perfect spots for adding Halloween memories.

Once my backgrounds and photo mats were in place, it was time for my favorite part—embellishing! I layered a mix of cardstock ephemera, shape sprinkles, and doodle-pops throughout both pages to create fun little clusters. From the adorable haunted house and smiling pumpkins to the sweet little witch flying on her broom, there are so many cute details to discover!

I also tucked in some colorful flowers, playful Halloween characters, and tiny stars to add even more dimension and interest. A few sparkly gems scattered throughout the embellishment clusters add just the right amount of sparkle!

Of course, I couldn't resist adding some machine stitching for extra texture. I love how stitching gives my layouts that little handmade touch and adds another layer of detail without taking away from all the colorful embellishments.

One of my favorite things about creating double-page layouts is having extra room to play with patterns, colors, and embellishments while still leaving plenty of space for photos. The coordinating papers and repeating embellishments help both pages flow together beautifully.
