HEY PUMPKIN HALLOWEEN LAYOUT | with Tya

Hi friends! Tya here, sharing a little Halloween happiness with the adorable Hey Pumpkin collection! Between the bright colors, smiling ghosts, and sweet little witches, this collection had me completely under its spell. It was the perfect match for these pumpkin patch photos and that colorful tutu!

I started by layering black cardstock with some Citrus Dot/Stripe Petite Print patterned paper, then added a narrow yellow cardstock border around the center. The black gives those happy colors an extra pop! Colorful polka-dot paper found on the Sprinkling of Fun paper and large pink plaid triangles from the Bubblegum Plaid/Polka Dot Petite Print create a playful background that draws your eye toward the photos.

I matted both photos with white and black cardstock to help them stand out against the patterned papers. The larger photo anchors the page, while the smaller photo captures another sweet pose. Above the photos, I added the “Hello Boo-tiful” sentiment from the This and That sticker sheet and a little yellow heart for a cheerful finishing touch.

One of my favorite parts of putting a layout together is building the embellishment clusters! I mixed pieces from the Odds & Ends, Chit Chat, Bits & Pieces, and This & That cardstock stickers throughout the page. Having so many coordinating pieces makes it easy to tuck, overlap, and layer until everything feels just right.

On the right side, I grouped a pink haunted house, a darling little witch, colorful candy, and a smiling pumpkin. The overlapping pieces frame the smaller photo and add so much personality! I scattered October Sky Star Shaped Sprinkles around the cluster and added Mini Jewels for little pops of sparkle. Diamond Stickles gives selected details that extra magical shine.

Above the photos, I layered a green plaid circle with a fluffy cloud, a happy crescent moon, and the cutest little bat. This cluster brings your eye upward and adds a sweet nighttime touch. More stars, Mini Jewels, and little dots of Diamond Stickles repeat the sparkle found throughout the page.

The left side needed a little spooky sweetness, too! I tucked a spiderweb, smiling spider, candy bag, and colorful treats behind a friendly ghost. Mixing the larger ghost with smaller accents creates a cluster full of fun little details. A touch of Diamond Stickles on the candy adds shimmer while keeping those bright colors front and center.

The oversized “Halloween” title stretches across the bottom of the photos, tying both sides of the layout together. Just below it, I added the “You’ve Got Me Under Your Spell” sentiment and printed journaling strips to tell the story behind these sweet pumpkin patch moments. I love finishing a page with a few words that help preserve the memory along with the photos!
