BUTTERFLY KISSES TAG FLIP MINI ALBUM | with Kathy

Butterfly Kisses just makes me happy.  I have fallen in love with the colors, the icons, the spring patterns... just everything!  I couldn't wait to play with it!  I decided to make a fun Tag Flip Mini Album to celebrate spring.  Take a peek...

I started by making my cover.  I cut 3 pieces of chipboard... 2 pieces  4.25" x 6.75" for the covers, and one 1.25"x 6.75" for the spine.  I arranged and glued them to a piece of the Garden Gingham plaid paper leaving about 0.5" around and wrapped to form my cover.  I covered the inside of the book with a piece of the bubblegum colored side of the Butterfly Kisses paper.  

To decorate my cover, I added a rectangle of the Butterfly Kisses paper to the front, and lots of butterflies and flowers from the Bits & Pieces pack.  I used some Beetle Black Alphabet Soup letters and a Chit Chat piece for my title. 

Inside the front cover I added a photo spot, with some Odds & Ends and a Chit Chat speech bubble.  On the right side, I punched a hole about 0.75" down and in the center to hold my book ring/ tags.

The Happy Thoughts Tag paper is one of my favorites!  I cut all six tags from the paper to use as the pages of my book.  I stitched coordinating papers to the back of each tag using my sewing machine.  I also cut a few smaller tags using a die from my stash to mix it up a little.  Then came the fun part... decorating the pages/tags!

For my photo spots, I used some stitched rectangle and square dies from my stash.  I added some tabs to some of the pages using a tab punch.  It was fun decorating all the pages!  I used Chit Chats, Odds & Ends, This & That Stickers, Icon Stickers, Puffy Icon Stickers and the new Puffy Words!  And let's not forget all the fun shaped sprinkles!

I also traced one of the tags onto the Butterfly Kisses Heavyweight Acetate and cut it to make another fun page.  I added rectangle photo spots to each side and some This & That Sticker words.  I lined them up  so that they matched on both sides!

I love how this turned out!  It's all ready for my spring photos!  I created a video short flip through, I always think it's more fun to see things in action!

FARMHOUSE SHAKER TAG MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hey Crafty Friends, it’s Conny! I’m excited to share my latest project featuring the charming Farmhouse collection. One of my main inspirations came from the beautiful 12 x 12 Double-Sided Buffalo Plaid paper. I particularly loved the side with tags, which was a perfect template for creating the additional tags throughout my mini album. The rustic and cozy feel of the plaid really brought my project to life, and I can’t wait for you to see how it all came together!

Here's how I put it together!  I began with a template measuring 5 7/8" x 3 1/2".  I cut all my papers from the 6x6 paper pad or used scraps left over from my last project. Additionally, I utilized some Heavy Clear Acetate to create the templates for my shaker tags.

For the next step, I used my sewing machine to seal three sides of the tag. Then, I added a mix of shaker elements, including Shades of Fall and Fall Flowers Shakers, as well as some Tangerine Shakers. For extra flair, I included round sequins in bumblebee and cupcake. After adding the sprinkles to the clear acetate, I sewed the top of the tag shut using my sewing machine.

For the shaker cover, I embellished it with flowers from the Bits & Pieces, along with some Puffy Icon Stickers and the Turkey Time Doodle-Pop. I also added the Mini Maple Little Charmer to the ribbons. Inside the mini album, I decorated further and included photo mats that measure 3 1/4" x 4 1/4". Additionally, I incorporated a few smaller tags from the Bits & Pieces and added pom-pom ribbons for extra detail.

I added shakers as covers and one in the middle of my mini-album. My mini-album has about seven pages, but you can definitely add more. Have you ever created a mini-tag album before? FARMHOUSE MINI TAG ALBUM | With Traci

Hello friends! Traci here and today, I'm sharing a super cute tag shaped mini album titled Give Thanks. At only 2x4 inches, it's such a fun and small size! I created it with the colorful Farmhouse Collection and thought it would make a great little holiday project and gift idea for Thanksgiving!

To make this, I started with the 12x12 patterned tag sheet titled Give Thanks. I cut apart each tag and decided which sides I would use for the album's pages. I glued 16 of them back-to-back to create 8 sturdy pages. Then, I punched a binding hole in each one.

On the front cover, I added the "Let's Give Thanks" title from 6x6 pattern paper called Country Quilt. The word strips fit perfectly across the tags. The scalloped border is a sticker from the This & That sheet and the little enamel heart is from the Love This sprinkles.

Inside, I embellished each "page" with a fun mix of photo mats, cards from the 6x6 Country Quilt paper, die cut pieces (Odds & Ends, Chit Chat, and Bits & Pieces), This & That stickers, and lots of cute sprinkles.

 

Some of the tags were so cute, they didn't need a thing! So, I left them as is and they made perfect little decorative pages. Check out the one above with the mixer, bowls, and turkey.

I also added a journaling spot. Here I used the clipboard from the Bits & Pieces. I trimmed it down a bit to fit the tag, then added the sunflower from the Odds & Ends and another heart sprinkle.

Look how cute this page is. I created a little flippie with another card from the 6x6 Country Quilt pattern paper. Inside, I added a colorful plaid and space for 2 small photos.

Even a mini album as tiny as this one can still have a pocket! I used a stamp shaped piece from the Chit Chat to create this one. I adhered it to the tag on 3 sides and left the center open. Then, I tucked some little banner pieces inside for journaling about things I'm grateful for. 

These enamel birds are from the Feathered Friends sprinkles. They add a great pop of color and shine to this simple tag. And I love, love, love the cute animals on the next one. It's a Thanksgiving totem! 🧡

This tiny Give Thanks tag album was so much fun to create with the Farmhouse Collection. It's little size and shape is something different and makes such a cute gift idea.

FARMHOUSE BIG TAG MINI ALBUM | with Kathy

I will confess that Fall is my most favorite season.  I love the colors, the crisp air, big sweaters.... all of it!  So when the Farmhouse collection came out, I was beyond excited!  One of the first papers I was drawn to was the Buffalo Check paper, and the "b" side with all the fun big tags!  I knew I was going to have to make a mini album with them.  Take a peek.... 

I started by making a chipboard cover for my mini.  I cut chipboard (2 cover pieces measuring 4 5/8" x 6 1/4", and one piece 1 3/8" x 6 1/4 for the spine.  I covered the pieces with the Country Quilt plaid paper for the outside cover.  On the inside I used a piece of Teal Textured Cardstock to cover.  I decorated my cover with die cuts from the Odds & Ends pack, some mini icons and some Flower Farm Shaped Sprinkles.  I added the pup from the mini Icons to look like he was in the truck.

I punched a hole on the right side of the inside cover.  To measure for it, I cut out all of the tags from the Buffalo Check paper, then lined one up on the inside of the book to see where to punch my hole.  I added a teal book ring from my stash.  On the left side of the inside cover I added a photo matt and elements from the Bits & Pieces Pack.

Now it was time to add my pages.  I used all 6 tags from the back of the Buffalo Check paper.  I then cut tags from coordinating Sprinkles Petite Prints and sewed them to the back of the tags.  All that was left was to decorate!

I used lots of elements from the This & That Stickers, Puffy Icons, Odds & Ends, Chit Chat pieces and Bits & Pieces along with photo matts.

I also used some of the cut-apart journaling spots from the "b" side of the Woodland Berries Paper as well as some cut apart 3x4 cards from the Country Quilt paper.

On a few of the pages, I stitched on some of the tabs from the Bits & Pieces.

Of course I had to make a shaker!  I love the adorable leaves and acorns in the Shades of Fall Shakers.  I also added some coordinating Doodlebug Sequins.

The smaller tags are from the Bits & Pieces pack.  They were fun to decorate and I love the extra detail they add.

This really was a fun mini to put together... and so easy to do with all the goodies in the Farmhouse collection!  I put together this flip through of my mini so you can see it in action!
