DOODLEBUG SHAKERS SNOW MUCH FUN SNOWGLOBE | with Tarrah

What is not to love about the new Doodlebug shakers?! I mean there are so many possibilities to use these! You have seen the Doodle Shaker Pops right? Well now you can create your very own shaker pops or cards or whatever you want! I decided to create a snow globe using the new DIY Snow Globe kit, the Snow Much Fun collection and of course the new shakers!

Firstly I created a scene on the back piece of the globe by adding a sheet of patterned paper from the 6' x 6' paper pad and then layered the Let It Snow acetate over the top. To create the scene I took pieces from the Odds and Ends ephemera pack and added the Snow Cute Doodle Pop also. I also added some small puffy stickers and some clouds too. On the white parts of the ephemera, I added some Kindyglitz for some extra sparkle. Once the backing was done, I tested how it looked and then added a lot of the Lily White shaker balls inside the globe.

For the outside, I added the Winter Wonderland paper to the top of the globe and also one of the scalloped border stickers from the This and That sticker sheet. At the base of the globe, I covered the black in the striped paper from the 6' x 6' paper pad. I took one of the phrase banner ephemera pieces from the Chit Chat pack and added this over the top. I then took one of the Frosty Fun Little Charmers and tucked it under the banner title. At the very bottom I added the tiny puffy hearts along the edge.

Around the outer front edge, I took all of the snowflake puffy stickers and arranged them to fill the space. I did think about painting this part first however I decided not to and I am glad I just added the stickers. Once it was all dry, it was time to give a test and shake it up! It worked great and I love how it turned out.

This was such a fun project to make! I hope you will give the shakers a go and create some cool projects with them! Thanks for stopping by today!

SNOW MUCH FUN TAGS | with Niella

Hi crafty crew, hope you're warm and snug in your part of the woods! Grab a cozy beverage and let's take a look at my Doodlebug project today which is one of my favorites... tags! I've been having Snow Much Fun with this perfectly named collection - love these colors of blues, greens, purples and greys! Not to mention the sweetest Yeti and his wintery friends.

I always start by flipping through the papers and choosing which papers I'll use for the foundation pieces (never easy as I want to use ALL the patterns!) Then I decide which paper will be the main part of tag...there is always so much fantastic choice!

After I've stitched on the band pieces, I punch holes and adhere a hole reinforcer. This provides the extra security on the tag for where I thread the doodle twine - another fave! You can use the 12x12' papers, but I love using the 6x6 paper pad because the patterns are perfect scale for tags and the like. Super cute!

Next, is my favorite part - decorating!

If you zoom in and look closely, you'll see a loaded tag! In this tag, I've slipped in some tiny tag cut-aparts from the 6x6 paper pad, so dainty and perfect to gift! I also like to be prepared by having a good stash to use or add in a journal or on a scrapbook page! Limitless uses crafty crew!

I love using pop and foam dots to give that dimension and to provide extra texture. Once completed I go over each and add the extra cuteness like sprinkles, ephemera, doodle twine, stickers and well...everything! Heehee :-)

The fun to be had in this collection is amazing - everything goes together so exceptionally well - perfect for all your winter crafting! Thank you so much for visiting today; I hope you've had a crafty hit for today! Don't forget to tag us in on your socials - we're looking forward to seeing your next Doodlebug Design project! Until next time; doodle dee!

SNOW MUCH FUN WINTER GIFT BOXES | with Miguel

I have another fun project made with the beautiful Snow much fun collection! Today,  I made some packaging to give some nice gifts with a winter theme, I'm sure you will recognize these products haha.

Whenever I'm in a shop and see cute items, I always relate them to Doodlebug collections.  I decided to create some cute boxes to hold the items, to make them even cuter!

To create my boxes, I used some chipboard, acetate, Odds & Ends, Shaped Sprinkles and a Doodle Pop! Look how beautiful all these products make my creation!

Another product that I love are the puffy icon stickers. You can create such fun scenes with them!

I say goodbye as always, hoping that my work inspires you to create.

SNOW MUCH FUN BOOKMARKS | with Niella

Happy New Year crafty crew! We've gone from ho, ho ho to snow, snow snow! Let's start the year with the new super cute + cozy Doodlebug Design collection... Snow Much Fun - so let's begin with bookmarks! Not just any kind of bookmark, mind you. A fun and interactive bookmark - you'll want to create a bunch to use and gift - you can even use them in your crafty projects like greeting cards, scrapbook layouts and travelers notebooks!

I started by selecting from the patterned papers in the 6x6 paper pad - I chose Snow Day, Snow Much Fun, Frozen Flurry, Wintery Woods and Snow Happy Together - aren't these names snow cute! Next I cut strips for the front and back of the bookmarks. The back is white textured cardstock. To give extra interest, I created the flag end and rounded the corners with my scissors.

Once I had the foundation pieces adhered (sewing machine for extra texture or glue the top edges) , I decorated! I love this part the most. Aren't the stand alone Doodle Cuts super adorable! I used both the Snow Cute and Frosty Flurry sets.

Using foam dots gives the best dimension! See how the adorable Yeti is holding a snowball ready for a play fight! And best pals Seal and Snow Bunny? So darling! And Snow Fox is ready for a wander with her pink scarf. And don't  forget the tiny cute choir of penguins and hi there polar bear with your rosy cheeks!

I can't wait to pop these in my new books to read over the next couple months! And because they are bookmarks; they can be used over and over! You could even make one and gift alongside with a new book as a present!

The colors in this collection are amazing - everything goes together so exceptionally well - perfect for all your crafting! Thank you so much for visiting today; I hope you've had a crafty hit for today! Don't forget to tag us in on your socials - we're looking forward to seeing your next Doodlebug Design project! Until next time; doodle doo!

LET IT SNOW WINTER TREAT BAGS | with Wanda

Hi friends! Happy New Year! I hope 2022 brings you lots of happiness, fun and of course, crafty good times! I'm here today to share a Winter themed project I made with the Let It Snow Collection! This collection is so versatile...you can pick and choose so many different elements and themes from it. Today's projects feature the adorable snow people found in the collection. Snow people are great for both Christmas and Winter in general. I made some treat favors and a mini card. This would be a great suite of things for a party. You could use any wonderful Doodlebug Collection to tailor it to your occasion. I do love an aqua/pink/red color combination too!

1

I used some cello bags and filled them with Sixlets in the prettiest shade of aqua to look like snowballs! I added my topper and used the Let It Snow collection along with Chunky Twine and Mini Doilies. So easy and fun to make these treats. The staples that hold the topper in place are covered with the pretty patterned papers.

I die cut and decorated a couple of treat bags! I do love these red and white stripes!! I added Doodle Cuts Mini Tags, some tiny clothespins and also some more twine to add embellishment.

Here's a little mini card that you can use with your treats or just so easy to put in a gift card or use as a place card! If you swap out the sentiment, this could also be a super cute Valentine card!
