Embellishing Focus | Interactive Viewfinder by Virginia

I have fond childhood memories with viewmaster slides!  I loved the clicking action as you advanced through the reel and the fun anticipation of what was going to show up next.   Today, I'm sharing an idea to incorporate this retro theme into your scrapbook album and make it inter-active too!
I started with a viewmaster die cut (cut with my digital cutter). I placed my photos and decorated a few windows with the uber cute shape sprinkles and a gorgeous new cow Jelly Clip from the 'Down On The Farm' collection.
To make the viewmaster slide turn in your scrapbook album, a spinner mechanism is needed.  Connect two circles (one 2.5 and one 4 inches in diameter ) together with a brad in the center.  The viewmaster slide is adhered on top of the smaller circle only and the larger circle is adhered to the page base (measures 10.5x12 inches) that will sit in the page protector.
Next, take your 12x12 album page protector and trim away 1.5 inches from the left side.  (yes, it's okay to cut your page protector, lol ) The opening at the top is closed with washi tape so that this becomes a side loading page.

The viewmaster hangs out over the left side so that you can spin the reel!  The cute little jelly clips on the side can be used as handles to help with the spinning action.
