Collectible Pin Challenge: Message Board by Caroli Schulz

Hello everyone, how are you? Caroli here today and I would like to share with you another use for the gorgeous collectable pins by Doodlebug Design.

Although my favorite place to use DD pins are my clothes, specially my denim jacket, I also came up with this idea for displaying them when I am not wearing them myself.

My little girl just started third grade and we are still adjusting our times and routines to school again, so a bulletin board seemed a great idea to help her organizing her duties and tasks. I decided to decorate Doodlebug Design style, using beautiful Spring Things collection.

On the left side of the board there's this white board surface that included days of the week and a little space for her to write any task, homework she might need to do. Also, on the right side of this whiteboard there's a little space I used to write lists of things to be done.
As you can see, I decorated this in a very simply way, since the important thing will be the information that will be contained on this board. Anyway, I managed to keep it clean and cute!

I cut the words "this week" using my silhouette Cameo and font Learning Curve. Also, I used some alphas for the list place.

On the right side of the board there's this cork space where she can pin pictures and anything she might need or want to have there. In this part of the board I used my collectible pins as for pinning and also for display, they look so cute, don't you think?

Here I also cut the word "let's" and completed the phrase with some stickers alpha in teal color. I decorated some more as well, and of course the grasshopper pin makes the perfect ensemble.

I hope you liked this idea, I can tell you it's been a great help organizing her time and mine: we can write her school tasks and even some home chores, not to mention how cute this looks on her wall.

If you happen to make something similar label me on Instagram -I'm @papelisima- or leave a comment with your link here, I'd love to see what you created.

Have a fabulous day!
