Collectible Pin Challenge: Home Decor Frame by Anita Bownds

Hi there,
Anita here with you today sharing my collectable pin decor frame
I just love decorating old frames that I find at the second hand shop
I absolutely love shabby chic look and paper clay and what better way to decorate a cute little frame.
And because I like decor I thought I would make these cute flowers too
i use a old Pringles container and paper straws.

I started with a 4x6 frame I took it all apart
I cut a bit of cardboard and a bit of cork sheet and cut it to size to fit in the frame

I painted the frame with gesso then added some paper clay moulded corners already dry and
Glued them down with the gesso. Then drying with a heat gun to speed up the drying time
Then I painted a layer on modelling paste on the frame and left it to dry
And paint the cork with a white paint

Then glue down the cork to the cardboard
Then mix some pink and white paint creating a light pink and paint the corners with a light coat

Punt the cardboard covered cork into the back of the frame and pop the pins in

And to finish the frame off I added flowers made from the Swiss dots rainbow petitieprints
And leaves from gingham-linen rainbow petite prints and a few cupcake glitter sprinkles

Product used
5449 swiss dot rainbow petitie prints pad
4533 cupcake glitter sprinkles
5447 gingham-linen rainbow petite prints
4682 hello sunshine mini flowers
3506 bumblebee jewels
3502 cupcake jewels
5516 chickie babies
4804 chunky twine cupcake

I hope I've given you some inspiration to decorate some old frames
Happy crafting..xx
