Calendar Challenge: Monthly Layout Design by Virginia Nebel

Hello everyone, I hope you have been enjoying all the creative calendar projects here on the blog.  I love linear and grid designs so it is no wonder I was drawn immediately to creating a layout using  the Doodlebug calendar pages.  Our family has enjoyed seeking sun and warmth during the March break so I chose a bright orange calendar page as my base.  There are 35 daily squares meaning 35 opportunities to fill and embellish with fun pattern papers, ephemera and photos- go crazy!!  Also, don't be afraid to cut your photos into squares to enhance the mosaic feel of the layout.

I like to pop up sticker titles and sometimes it's little tricky if the title font is thin and you don't want the title to cave in where there are no foam dots.  I use a bit of twine in between the foam dots to give the word that extra support.

Here are some close-ups of the page, loving all the fabulous ephemera from the Fun in the Sun collection!

Thanks for dropping by, have a wonderful crafty day!
