SUMMER FUN CAMERA ALBUM | with Traci

Hey friends! Traci here and today, I'm sharing a new scrapbook idea for your sunny warm weather photos. It's a camera shaped mini album made with the colorful Summer Fun Collection. It features pretty flowers, palm trees, cute fish, beach umbrellas, surfboards, and more. It's a fun and simple project for your summer memories!

To make this, I used my white Artsy Albums Acrylic Camera Shaped Album, the 6x8 paper pad, some 12x12 cut apart cards, and lots of cute embellishments. On the front, I wanted a beautiful color so I chose the tone-on-tone floral pattern called Pink Paradise.

My camera album comes with a white acrylic circle for the lens, but I added pattern papers underneath for more color. I punched a 3.5" circle out of the blue polka dot called Gull Friends and a 3" circle from the rainbow stripe titled Beach Towel. My white circle was next, then the scenic die cut from the Bits & Pieces. I think the image looks like a reflection in the lens!

Inside, I covered the white scrapbook pages with colorful pattern papers. Here, I used the sunny Summer Fun print in the background and created a flippie with a journaling card from the 12x12 Summer School paper. I added the "memories" sticker from the This & That, then decorated with a palm tree from the Odds & Ends and some super cute mini icon stickers.

I love the gorgeous flower print on the fold-out page above. To make it, I used the 4x4 "Life is Good" card from the Flamazing Flock sheet on the front flap. Then, I added a matching 4x6 card from the 6x8 paper pad on the inside. They look great together and give this page space for journaling and photos!

For this colorful pocket page, I used the green Paradise Palms print in the background and the Summer Fun paper on the front. Then I added the beautiful flower die cut from the Bits & Pieces and tucked some cute cards inside from the 12x12 Flamazing Flock and Beach Towel prints.

This fun layout has a flippie for 2 pictures AND a pocket! I created the white folding card and adhered it to the page on 3 sides. I added the scenic This & That sticker to the front and tucked a Bits & Pieces tag inside the back. Then, I decorated with the sun from the Odds & Ends and the cute lifeguard mini icon sticker.

Well, that's it for me today! I hope you liked my camera shaped mini album and it inspires you to create something wonderful with the Summer Fun Collection. Its cheerful colors and cute images are sure to brighten your day!

If you'd like to recreate my Summer Fun Scrapbook, the acrylic camera album is available in my shop! Thanks for stopping by the blog today and happy scrappin'. 😊

SUMMER FUN MINI ALBUM | with Tya

There is just something extra special about turning favorite memories into a handmade gift! Today I’m sharing this bright and cheerful little mini album I created using the Summer Fun collection . This album is going to a sweet family friend so she can flip through it again and again and remember some of the fun times we shared at the beach. One of the things I love most about paper crafting is being able to take photos and memories and turn them into meaningful little gifts for the people I love. And with all of the happy colors and adorable beach-themed icons in Summer Fun, this collection was absolutely perfect!

For the cover, I wanted to give a little peek at all the color and texture tucked inside the album. I layered several different circular elements together, mixing patterned papers, die cuts, and embellishments to create lots of dimension. I added the cute “Happy” banner from the Chit Chat die cuts, across the top along with that adorable smiling starfish, and tucked a colorful beach ball, also from the Chit Chat and the “Best Day Ever” sentiment into the layers. The bright pink paper tassel and sheer polka-dot ribbon tied onto the album ring add such a fun finishing touch. I especially love the yellow pom-pom trim peeking out around the edges—it gives the whole album such a playful, summery personality!

Once the cover is opened, you can really see all those fun layers. I used circles in several different sizes throughout the album so that pieces from the pages behind peek out here and there. I love how this makes the album feel full and interesting before you even start flipping through it! The colorful beach ball makes a great focal point on this page, and I layered the “Best Day Ever” sentiment, which is a sticker from the This and That Sticker Sheet, across the bottom. A few tiny flowers from the Island Tropics Shape Sprinkles add just the right amount of extra detail without covering up all of those cute patterned papers.

For the next page, I knew I wanted it to be bright and sunny. The bright yellow speech bubble with the “It’s a Beautiful Day!” sentiment from the This and That Sticker Sheet, makes such a happy introduction . A few shiny blue Sprinkles add another pop of color and dimension. The bottom page features this adorable beach photo, which I cropped into a circle to coordinate with the shape of the album. I added a sunshine embellishment along with a few tiny flowers, which are all from the Puffy Icon Stickers,  to frame the photo while still letting that sweet little face be the star of the page.

I continued the circular design on the next section with another favorite close-up photo. I layered the picture over colorful patterned paper and added the cutest little  Puffy Sticker jellyfish alongside it. The “Life’s a Beach” sentiment was the perfect phrase for this photo, and the bright pink heart from the Odds and Ends,  adds another fun pop of color. On the page below, I created a larger embellishment cluster using the “Summer Fun” piece, which is a sticker from the This and That Sticker Sheet, a flamingo sticker from the Icons stickers, umbrella, beach ball, bucket and other little beach icons. I love mixing embellishments of different sizes like this—it gives such a tiny album a surprising amount of detail!

I also wanted the album to have plenty of pages that were more decorative so that flipping through it feels like a little explosion of summer. For this page, I layered a large sunshine over the colorful plaid background and added the adorable rainbow flip-flops. The die cuts are from the Odds and Ends and the papers are all from the 6x8 Paper Pad. The “Sunny Memories” sentiment says exactly what this album is all about! Below it, I used the blue polka-dot paper to really make the bright green “FUN” title stand out. I tucked the photo behind the title and added the snorkel mask, colorful fish and “Summer” word strip around it. The yellow pom-pom trim framing this page might be one of my favorite details in the entire album—it adds so much texture and whimsy!

The next spread is filled with even more beach-day happiness! For the top page, I used the colorful dotted patterned paper and added the cute  umbrella ands and bucket and shovel die cut from the Odds and Ends along with the little seagull Icon sticker. The rainbow umbrella across the top adds another fun pop of color, while the “You Make Me Smile” banner , from the Chit Chat, stretches across the page and ties everything together. I added just a touch of dimension with a shiny pink Sprinkle. On the lower page, I fit two circular photos side by side and surrounded them with tropical flowers, a palm tree, starfish and heart. These are all from the Icon Stickers and the Odds and Ends . The bold “Fun in the Sun” title along the bottom, is from the This and That Sticker Sheet, and was just too perfect for these sweet beach photos!

I had so much fun creating this little keepsake with the Summer Fun collection. More than anything, I love knowing that it will be given to someone special who can flip through these pages whenever she wants and remember the fun beach days we spent together. Handmade gifts filled with photographs and memories will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope this colorful little album has inspired you to pull out some of your favorite summer photos, get those memories printed, and turn them into a cute mini album of your own. Summer always seems to fly by, but capturing those sunny days in a handmade album means we can enjoy them over and over again! ☀️🏖️💕

SUMMER FUN BEACH HOUSE MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Hi sweet friends! Traci here and today, I'm sharing a new scrapbook titled Summer Beach House Shaped Mini Album. I made it with the colorful Summer Fun Collection and the Home Sweet Home Chipboard Album. I love the idea of pairing this collection with a house shape. If you love seaside vacations, then you're likely renting a beach cottage, a house, or a hotel room and this cute album works for them all!

The Home Sweet Home Chipboard Album is 5x7 inches and comes as a blank canvas. It features two covers, a roof top piece, four dividers, and four pages - giving you 16 pages in total. It includes 2 silver binding rings but to match the roof, I swapped them out with yellow ones I had in my stash.

On the front, I covered the white base with the Summer Fun and Gull Friends prints. To mimic the scallops along the roof, I layered four different scalloped border stickers from the This & That sheet. Two along the roofline, one along each window creating little awnings, and ... can you find the last one? It's the pretty floral one along the bottom! I added some cute flower icon stickers on top, then embellished the rest of the cover with Odds & Ends and more adorable icons.

Inside, I covered each of the pages with a different 12x12 pattern paper. I created photo mats for each, then had fun decorating. Above, I used the Polka Dot Bikini print in the background, then added the sun and surfboards from the Odds & Ends die cuts.

Here, I created 2 smaller photo mats using the front and back of the Polka Dot Bikini paper. I love these two prints together. So colorful! The sign die cut with the cute seagull fit the space perfectly but the fact that it had ALL the colors that were in the mats just made me so happy!

On this page, I let the background paper titled Beach Picnic do most of the talking. The cheerful colors in that gingham print are beautiful, so I kept the embellishments simple. The umbrella is from the Odds & Ends and that cute dolphin is an icon sticker!

Beach picnic anyone? Yes please! Doodlebug has thought of everything. They've created so many fun images in this collection that highlight our favorite summer activities. I mean ... what's better than flip flops in the sand, fruity cocktails, and snacks?!

And speaking of cocktails, how pretty is this page with the floral Let's Luau paper and matching drinks? Those are just two more of the amazing die cuts from the Odds & Ends. The package has 132 pieces to choose from so you can totally customize this mini for your vacation.

Y'all know, I love a cute pocket page. So here, I added the Pink Paradise paper in the background and created a pocket using the scalloped circle sticker from the This & That sheet. I used the Simon Says Stamp Brush Powder Tool to dust the backside so it wouldn't be sticky, then tucked a few cards inside!

I hope this cute beach themed scrapbook inspires you to create something wonderful with the Summer Fun Collection and the Home Sweet Home Chipboard Album. I just love the bright happy colors, cute images, and beach theme. Perfect for summer memories!

This Summer Beach House Shaped Album will be available as a DIY kit in my Artsy Albums shop tomorrow (Friday) if you're looking for a more guided project. Have a fabulous day and happy scrapping! 😊

SNOW MUCH FUN - CIRCLE MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Hey crafty friends! Traci here and today, I'm sharing a cute winter mini album made with the adorable Snow Much Fun Collection and my Acrylic Circle Petal Album. This little scrapbook has a fun shape with cut-outs on the cover that show off all the pretty pattern papers and cool winter colors. They're all so beautiful!

On the front, I layered two circles cut from the gorgeous blue jean paper (Wintery Woods) and the colorful snowflake print (Snow Day). Then, I added the cute scalloped snowman sticker from the This & That sheet.

Inside the cover, I chose the pistachio print (Frozen Flurry) for the background, then embellished with 2 die cuts from the Chit Chat. And for a little winter sparkle, I added colorful mini jewels to each of the snowflakes.

Next, I cut 4 circles out of white card stock for my pages. This gave me 8 layouts to decorate and add photos to, but you could add more if needed. I also created 1 flippie and 2 fun pockets with journaling cards for extra photo space.

This first page is the one that shows through the cut-outs on the cover, so I used a 2" circle punch and added lots of colorful pattern papers. For the photo mat in the center, I used the Wintery Woods paper.

This next page is filled with cuteness! The Snow Much Fun print in the background has lots of adorable images of snowmen, winter animals, a yeti, skiers, and hot cocoa. I added a square photo mat, then embellished with die cuts from the Odds & Ends and a word bubble from the This & That stickers.

Check out this fun pocket page and the colorful stripes. I decorated the edge of the pocket with a scalloped This & That border sticker, then added die cuts from the Chit Chat and Odds & Ends. Then, I tucked some cute journaling cards inside that are from the 12x12 Cold Streak print.

Here, I created a folding card with space inside for 2 photos, AND ... another handy dandy pocket. I used a 3x4 card from the Frozen Flurry print to create the flippie and adhered it to the page on 3 sides only. This way, I could tuck the Bits & Pieces tags and clipboard in the top to be used for journaling!

I hope you love this winter mini album and the Snow Much Fun Collection as much as I do!  To see my spring version of this acrylic album that's made with Doodlebug's Over The Rainbow Collection, click here.

OH WHAT FUN STOCKING MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hello, crafty friends! It’s Conny here from The Daily Life of Creativity, and I’m back today with another fun holiday project featuring the Oh What Fun Collection. This is Project Four using this gorgeous collection, and I created an adorable Christmas stocking mini album with five pages, both front and back!
If you’d like to see how this album comes together from page construction to the final assembly, be sure to check out the process video on my YouTube channel.
I started by cutting all of my base pieces using my Cricut Maker.
    Stocking Base (White Cardstock):

Cut from 110 lb. white cardstock for a sturdy base
Size: 6.7 × 7.5 inches
Cut five total bases
Top Stocking Fold:
Size: 4.9 × 3.1 inches
I used the offset feature on my Cricut and set it inward
Inner Stocking Layers:
Size: 6.3 × 7.1 inches
Rectangle Layer on Top of Stocking:
Backing piece size: 4.5 × 2.7 inches
Patterned Papers Used:
8991 – Cookies and Candy
8994 – Twinkle Time
8992 – Christmas Tree
8998 – Here Comes Santa
8989 – Merry Christmas
Each page is filled with layers and dimension, mixing patterns throughout the album. The photo mats are designed for 3 x 4-inch photos, with white cardstock mats trimmed to 3.5 x 4.5 inches, backed with leftover patterned paper scraps from previous projects, making them perfect for using up extras. I used a mix of Odds & Ends and Chit Chats to add phrases and create cute little Doodlebug clusters throughout the album.
The ribbon on the cover is extra special; it came from Cynthea at Doodlebug as part of the packaging from a gift she sent me. (Thank you so much, Cynthea! You have the kindest heart.) Her ribbons are always beautiful.
On the cover, I added a Doodle Pop: “Santa On His Way”, featuring Santa on his little train, along with the Christmas Magic acrylic word and enamel dots to finish everything off.
I had so much fun creating this Christmas stocking mini album, and this collection made it a joy to work with. Be sure to check out the blog post to see my other projects using this collection, and don’t forget to visit my YouTube channel to watch the full process video.
Thank you so much for crafting along with me! See you next time!

OH WHAT FUN DECEMBER 25th MINI ALBUM | with Traci

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope your day is filled with love, laughter, and holiday cheer. Today, I have a fun new mini album to share with you titled December 25 that's packed with lots of cute goodies from the Oh What Fun Collection! It's sweet, colorful, and perfect for your holiday memories. ❤️

To make it, I created the album covers out of white acrylic but you could use card stock instead. The front piece is the number 25 and the back is a 6.5"x 6.5" square. I embellished the cover with 3 ahhh-dorable Doodle-pops titled Santa's Elves, Playful Pixies, and Deer Friends. Then, I added some die cuts from the Bits & Pieces and a bunch of fabulous puffy stickers from the icons and words.

Behind the acrylic cover are 12 scrapbook pages covered in cute 12x12 pattern papers. I love the print on the first page. It's titled Berry Christmas and has pretty flowers and holly.

Above, I created a fold-out page and added a striped pocket to the front flap. The pocket is a new die cut shape in the Bits & Pieces and has a cute circular cutout. I tucked the round Santa from the Bits & Pieces into the pocket and it framed his little face perfectly!

Inside the fold-out, I added the 12x12 Cookies and Candy plaid paper, a photo mat, and the stockings die cut from the Bits & Pieces. Did you notice all the toys, presents, and sweet treats in them? Such cute details.

On this page, I added the "All Spruced Up" paper and the Happy Holidays die cut from the Chit Chat. I love its scalloped oval shape. I also added some colorful tabs to the edge of the pages. They're from the Bits & Pieces and have words on them that say ... memories, traditions, and December.

Here, I made a round photo mat using a 4" and a 3.5" circle punch. Then, I created a flippie with white paper and a colorful sticker from the This & That sheet. I added the hot air balloon and stars from the Odds & Ends, and some of the Christmas Eve star shaped sprinkles for shine.

Isn't this pink Cookies and Candy paper pretty? I love the color and all the playful gingerbread. I used a 3x4 card from the Check the Halls paper to make a flippie and added a journaling card from the Merry Magic print inside. Then, a photo mat in the background and a sweet die cut finished the page.

The layout above is another fold-out with space for 4 pictures. On the front flap, I added a photo mat and the Santa's Toy Factory die cut from the Odds & Ends. Look how cute and colorful it is with the toys in the windows! And when you open it ...

... this page is inside! The adorable elf and the Christmas tree are from the Odds & Ends. I decorated the cute striped tree with a star, some colorful candy, and tiny dots from the puffy icons stickers.

A pocket is a great place to store extra photos and journaling cards. I covered this one in the Spot of Cheer paper, then added the blue Christmas Eve print in the background. I tucked some cute cards inside from the Merry Magic and Check the Halls paper.

❤️ the colorful string lights on this page! They're from the Chit Chat and to really make them shine ... I added some enamel Christmas Light shape sprinkles on top. I also made a flippie with the 3x4 Happy Holidays card. It's from the Merry and Bright print and the sweet Santa face is from the Odds & Ends.

I hope my December 25 Mini Album inspires you to create something wonderful with the Oh What Fun Collection. To see other projects I made with this adorable line, visit my Heart Shaped AlbumTruck Shaped Album or 12x12 Oh What Fun Layout.

Thanks for hopping on the blog. I hope everyone has an amazing day celebrating with loved ones. Merry Christmas, crafty friends! 😊
