FUN AT THE PARK MOVIE NIGHT SET | with Wanda

Gosh, I'm so excited to share my first project made with the new Fun At The Park Collection! I am in love with this bright color palette and everything is fresh and happy! When I opened my box of goodies, the first thing that came to my mind was - Movie Night! So I went with that theme for my projects! We have been spending a lot of time at home watching movies, right? So why not make it fun for everyone! I made a party! This collection would be great for a Movie Party, an Oscars Party, or a Birthday Party. No limit to the creativity you can have with these fun supplies. I used the Fun At The Park Collection to create treat boxes and candy favors and a cute sign for the table...

You can find templates on the web to die cut out a popcorn box shape - so easy! One of the things I love about Doodlebug papers is that they are double sided. So whatever you make, it looks pretty on the other side (inside) too! I used polka dots for the popcorn box. I filled it with a cello bag and candies. I used the super cute buttons and twine to tie it off. I tucked in some accents attached to straws to make it more fun.

Here's my movie night sign! You could even make this into invitations - I cut the film strips from the 12x12 paper pack and added stars and hearts and fuzzy alphabets.

I also made a French fry box filled with candies.... I love that polka dot pattern on the inside! My movie night would certainly include all these things: popcorn, candy, hot dogs, and soda!! MMMMM.

 Easy and colorful individual treats!

LAND THAT I LOVE PARTY KIT | with Miguel

Celebrating and being proud of the country where we were born and raised is something incredible!  So let´s talk about the project that I came up with for the beautiful Land That I Love Collection.  Here in Mexico,  where I was born and raised,  we celebrate our independence day on September 15th.  I closed my eyes and just imagined this project to celebrate that great day, but now in an American version!

I made a box with cardboard  in which I took great care of the measurements with the intention of matching the 2" x 2" cards that the collection includes for my cover.  The project is designed as a party kit to celebrate with family and friends.

Inside the box I included some party supplies like glasses, napkins, snacks and some super fun glasses!!! Everything is decorated for the celebration!

I love adding fun details to my projects.  My favorite part in this one is the how the mini jewels give the illusion of fireworks by adding some flash!

Goodbye for today, as always I hope I have inspired you to create something fun this coming July

FAIRY GARDEN GIFT SET | with Wanda

Hi everyone! I'm buzzing by today with some cheerful happy bees from the Fairy Garden Collection! I have been wanting to make a project featuring the bees and the honeycomb papers for a little bit, and the idea came together with this Busy Bee ensemble today! I've made a card, a gift bag/gift card holder, and some pretty pinwheel party decorations. I love blue and yellow together, it's just happy and bright! This would be great for any occasion - to decorate for a party or birthday.

1

I made the gift bag from Kraft cardstock and decorated the front with papers from the Fairy Garden 6x6 Paper Pad. I added a Bee Doodlepop and then finished off with Bumblebee Twine and a Mini Clothespin. I used Sprinkles from the Fairy Garden Collection to add shiny accents to this piece.

1

I made the pinwheels using a Pinwheel maker and they are 4 inches across. I affixed them to fun paper straws using foam tape. I added accents from the Fairy Garden Collection (Chit Chat and Odds & Ends) to decorate the centers of the pinwheels. Keeping everything in the same color family.

This finished card is a 4.5 x 4.5 inch square card made from Kraft Cardstock. I used three different patterned papers to create this look. I added bits of Sugar Coating Glitter to make the bee wings shimmery.

Here's a close up of the layers on the gift box. The center image is from the Fairy Garden 6x6 Paper Pad. So sweet!

Dragon Tails Collection: Party Set with Kathy

Hi Everyone!  It's Kathy today with a fun party set featuring the oh so adorable Dragon Tails Collection.  I'm part Swedish, so the little vikings in this collection are right up my alley, and don't get me started on the adorable dragons.  I put together a cute little party set, take a peek..

I really had a fun time with this collection! I started with the banner featuring lots of pieces from the Odds & Ends and tied together with some Blue Jean Chunky Twine.   I love how many pieces you get in the Odds & Ends package, I used so many and still have most of them left!

Next up is this cute little castle I made as a centerpiece.  I started with this cut file which was actually meant to be a sand castle.  All it took to make it look like a stone castle was some of the Cobblestones Double Sided Cardstock!  I added some vikings from the Mini Icon Stickers, the Hip Hip Hooray Mini Garland, and a cute dragon & present sticker from the Icons Sticker Sheet.  To finish it off, I gave the dragon a balloon from the Balloon Shaped Sprinkles!

Here is the back of the castle, I couldn't resist adding one more little dragon with a balloon!

I made the little party favors to look like the broken dragon eggs.  I added a little Dragon from the Odds & Ends to each "egg" and filled them with some treats!

I created the Broken Egg Half  Silhouette file along with a little piece to help the Dragons stand up, and would love to share it with you!  You can download it from my blog here.  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!
