Pinterest Inspired Challenge: From Wall Decor to Layout by Caroli

Hello there! How's everything? Today I want to share a new project made with colorful Doodlebug goodness :)

This month, the design team were challenged to create a project using Pinterest as inspiration. In my case, it was super hard to decide because I'm such a big Pinterest enthusiast! I keep on pinning stuff here and there all the time, so I had a lot to choose from.

Finally, I used these two images as inspiration for my layout:

And here sis my project, of course a layout!

Of course the turquoise background on the image caught my eye inmediately, I love turquoise color to bits, so I chose a cardstock in that color as my base.

I love grid design and I got inspired by all those pretty frames on the wall to create some kind of grid on my layout.

I used beautiful patterned papers and embellies from Spring Things collection, love the colors and happy feeling of this collection.

I used a mix of different alphas on my title to make it funnier and more interesting, silver alpha is one of my faves these days!

I took the pic I used last summer while we were on vacation, my kids fell asleep early after so much pool fun and I took that opportunity to have some rest myself as well, but first I snapped a quick shot.

It is unbelievable how time flies, one day you have a baby and next day it's all grown up and knows how to write and use a computer... I'm kinda nostalgic these days, trying to treasure all this little kids moments while they last, and certainly this layout documents this feeling.

I put my layout in a special corner of my scraproom, I love how it looks there!

I hope you like this idea and inspiration behind this layout, I certainly love the meaning it has, one more treasure for my scrapbooks!

Have an awesome day, big hugs!
