BUNNY HOP EXPLOSION BOX MINI ALBUM | with Kathy

Well, I've had my fill of chocolate eggs for about the next century!  Now it's time to scrap all of those fun Easter photos!  I wanted to do a little something different so I created an explosion box that holds a fun little mini album using the Bunny Hop Collection.  Take a peek...

I used some lily white cardstock to create my box, and covered it with panels cut from the Easter Basket and Carrot Patch papers.  I decorated the cover with some Odds & Ends, Chit Chats, and sprinkles.  When you remove the fun little cover, the box "explodes" open to show a darling mini, perfect for all my Easter pics!  

Inside I decorated the 4 inner sides of the box with some May Flowers paper and four (yes, four!) Doodle-pops.  I'm very proud of myself for using them, rather than hording them. 

In the center of my box I created a mini using a hidden binding.  It has 7 pages.  I then set to decorating all the pages using Odds & Ends, Icon Stickers, This & That Stickers, Shaped Sprinkles and Puffy Icons.  My photo mats were cut using dies from my stash.  Here are some close-ups.

I was so happy that this came out as I had envisioned!  I created a short video of my mini in action, I think it's much more fun to see it this way!

BUNNY HOP - EASTER BUNNY DECOR | with Jen

Long before I started making mini albums I made a lot of 3D projects. So for my final design team project I decided to make a decor piece using elements from the Bunny Hop line and some Bunny Hop SVG Files. 

I used the adorable Bunny Hop - Bunny in Truck SVG file found in the Lori Whitlock Shop to create this cute decor piece. The base elements were cut with my Glowforge from lightweight birch wood but this could be done by cutting the elements with a Cricut or Silhouette, tracing on to foam board and cutting by hand. To fill out the scene I added the the Bunny Hop - Striped Egg  and Bunny Hop Tree SVG Files.

For my base I used a random splat shape from Cricut Design Space because I wanted a more organic base. Into that piece I cut a well to add a little shaker element using the Bunnies and Chicks Shakers and Spring Flowers Shakers. I covered my base with the Spring Sprouts and May Flowers 12x12 papers cut with my Cricut. 

I wanted to make the truck as dimensional as possible so I cut and layered some of the elements from the SVG file. I covered these elements with papers from the Bunny Hop Coordinating Cardstock and Coordinating Petite Print papers. I also added the Egg Shape Sprinkles in the back of the the truck. I added a Chit Chat piece on the door of the truck as well.

For a finishing touch I made a tiny banner to hang on the trees using the Bunny Hop Puffy Icons and some Bubblegum Doodle Twine.

BUNNY HOP - BUNNY TREAT HOLDERS | with Tya

Hello friends! With Easter right around the corner, I couldn’t resist creating something sweet, simple, and oh-so-cute using the Bunny Hop collection. These darling chocolate bunny treat holders are the perfect little addition to any Easter basket, and they came together so quickly! 

 Did you know that each Doodlebug collection comes with a coordinating Petite Print pack and a matching textured cardstock pack? I love having those options right at my fingertips—it makes mixing and matching effortless and ensures everything ties together beautifully! For these treat holders, I used a mix of those coordinating papers along with some adorable elements from the Bunny Hop collection. The cute bunny chocolates peeking out make the perfect focal point, and I layered on tags, twine, sprinkles, and sweet little embellishments to give each one that extra “Tya touch” of texture and dimension. Each holder has its own personality thanks to the different color combinations, but they all work together so perfectly as a set.

To start, I cut my base piece from some bubblegum textured cardstock to 2” x 8¼”. This will create the main structure of the treat holder and gives it that sturdy feel while still keeping everything nice and lightweight. For the patterned paper, I cut a piece of the Cupcake Candy Stripe/Sprinkles paper from the Petite Prints pack—one measuring 1¾” x 5” for the tall back panel and one measuring 1¾” x 2” for the front pocket piece.

Next, I used my score board and scored along the 8¼” side at 1” and 3 1/8”. These score lines are what form the pocket and give the holder its shape, so be sure to get nice crisp folds for the best results.

Once everything was scored, I folded along the lines to start forming the pocket. You’ll see how quickly it begins to come together into that adorable little holder shape!  I love how these coordinating prints add just the right touch of pattern and color. I adhered the patterned paper pieces onto the base, lining everything up so the pocket section looks clean and polished. This step really brings the whole project to life! 

Next, I used a tag punch at the top of the holder to create that cute tag shape. I also used the punch on the other end of the paper that was folded over. I like how this finishes up the paper and makes it cohesive.

Once the base was ready, I added my chocolate bunny inside the pocket and used adhesive to secure it in place so it stays put. 

 

Then I wrapped some chunky twine around the holder and tied it into a bow. This adds texture and that perfect handmade touch that I just love.

Finally, I decorated the front with some of the sentiment banners from the Chit Chat, Easter Assortment Sprinkles, and the Puffy Icons Stickers from the Bunny Hop collection. These little details are what really make each treat holder unique and extra special! These are such a fun way to dress up a simple chocolate bunny and turn it into a thoughtful handmade gift. They would be adorable tucked into Easter baskets, shared with friends, or even used as place settings for a spring gathering!

BUNNY HOP EASTER PILLOW TREAT BOXES | with Karen

Well, we may have had our usual March snow storm this last week up here in Calgary, but I am ready for spring. So, if I cannot have green grass and fresh blooms outside, you better believe that I am going to have them on my crafty table!

And what better collection to do that with than the adorable and colourful Bunny Hop! With Easter just around the corner, this is a perfect time to grab this collection again and create something fun and Spring-like. I opted for some pillow boxes from Lori Whitlock to brighten my day.

To make these pillow boxes, I used the 12x12" patterned papers from this collection. I cut them at about 5.5" high so I could get two on each sheet of paper. What is really fun about these pillow boxes is the little peek-a-boo window in the design. The Easter Dots acetate sheets that coordinate with this collection are the perfect way to seal up that window and add a fun design element. I just used a bit of liquid adhesive on the inside to hold it in place.

With the amazing designs and colours, these little boxes didn't need to much embellishment. But I always love adding a little mini jewel here and there for a bit of extra sparkle. I love that they actually play up on this polka dots on the acetate as well!

I am not sure if these are going to be an addition to the Easter table for just a fun little surprise along the way, but in the meantime, they are the fun spring vibe for my crafty space that I was looking for. I hope they bring a smile to your face too! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,

BUNNY HOP SHAKER EASTER TAGS | with Conny

Hey there, crafty friends! You're in for a treat today as I show you how to make these lovely shaker tags using the Bunny Hop Collection and the Bunnies and Chicks Shakers!

I started by cutting out four tags measuring 3"X5" each from the 6"X6" paper pad and also cut out some acetate. After that, I used my sewing machine to stitch them together, but left the top open so that I could add the Bunnies & Chicks and Spring Flowers Shakers inside. It was such a fun and creative way to add a little extra charm! Once the tags were filled, I stitched them closed.

At the bottom of the tags, I added a cute pom pom trim and ribbon to give them a little extra flair. These tags are perfect for adding a little bit of something extra to your springtime crafts, such as handmade cards, journals, or even gift tags.

I used the lovely bunnies from the Bunny & Friends Doodlecutsfor my project. I decorated two bunnies with Mini Icons, Doodle Pops, and Mini Jewels. I also added flowers, eggs, and chickies behind the bunnies to create a cluster and used foam adhesive for dimension. To finish them off, I added a bow at the top with tulle. Today, I got out my markers. It's been awhile - I am not exactly sure why except to say that there were so many other goodies from Doodlebug to work with that my stamps took a back seat for awhile. But the new Bunny Hop stamps were just so darn cute that there was no way that they were not making an appearance on a project! So I give you the revival of my markers with an adorable card set featuring the new Bunny Hop Stamps!

Tada! I know - now you can see what I am talking about, right? How could I not devote some time and energy to these cuties?

Two adorable bunnies and a darling chick together with a host of background items like a tree, eggs, grass and a happy sun! The combinations with this set are endless. I teamed them up with the coordinating Cards & Envelopes and some of the 6x6 patterned paper. I used some of the die cuts from the Bits and Pieces set for some added layers and patterns.

And then I topped it all of with some of the amazing Bitty Beans - Shape Sprinkles. I love them! It actually looks like I have just spilled some jelly beans on the front of the cards. It really is a fabulous, fun addition to the cards.

Well, I have absolutely no regrets on this project and am so glad that the stamping tools came out of the crafty cupboard. I loved every minute of working with these projects and I hope they brought a smile to your face too!  Thanks for stopping by!
