GHOST TOWN PUMPKIN KING LAYOUT | with Erica

Hey friends! Erica here with you today sharing my very first layout using the new Ghost Town collection from Doodlebug Design.

I really wanted to create a layout and document little Liam's new best friend Jack. I created a cut file in Silhouette Design just by typing out the word Jack. I then welded the letters together and made them larger so they were a big statement piece on my page. Next I created an offset and then grouped everything together.

I really wanted to keep this layout simple and only use black, white and orange. I picked out some papers from the Ghost Town 6x6 paper pad and backed the cut file piece I created in Silhouette. I really love the black and white pattern paper and think it is the perfect match for Liam's Jack Skellington.

Liam was so excited for his new Jack and he takes him everywhere! I printed a couple photos out in black and white and they are sized about 4x4. I matted them on a couple pieces of pattern paper from the Ghost Town collection.

I wanted to create sub title to the layout so I used the Sunshine Alpha in Beetle Black to spell out The Pumpkin King. I used one of the super cute Ghost Town doodle pops under the title and then added my typed journaling block.

To finish off the layout I added a cute scallop border sticker from the 12x12 Ghost Town sticker sheet and a strip of black and white stripe pattern paper to the left side of the layout. Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed my layout. Sometimes it is nice to keep it simple and I just love how the black pops on this page. Have a great day!
