LOVE NOTES PET LAYOUT | with Erica

Hey friends! Do you document photos of your furry friends? Today I wanted to create a 12x12 scrapbook layout using the Love Notes collection to document a photo I recently shot of our sweet Pitbull Lola and I! She is always very close to me if not right next to me at all times.

I thought the Doodlebug Design Love Notes collection would be perfect to use with this photo. I printed my photo at home and used the PicFrame app to turn it into a square and it is sized about 3.5x3.5 and printed in black and white. I wanted to add my photo in the center of my page so I went with a vertical design keeping most elements going down the center of the page.

I did want to make sure to frame the layout so I added some strips of pretty pattern paper from the collection and added them to the left and right of the page. I really wanted to the photo and title to be the main focus of my layout and love the sweet pieces you can use as titles in the Love Notes chit chat packs!

I used the new Sunshine alpha in Cupcake to spell out Lola Beans to finish off my title. I love the size of this new alpha set and want to use it all the time! The Love Notes odds & ends include these super cute heart banner die cuts that I have been wanting to use and I think they were perfect for the top and bottom of my page. I glued them down directly to the page so that when I went in with some more embellishments I could pop them up around everything.

I added some cute bird stickers to add to the page and popped them up on some foam adhesive. I really wanted to add some clouds to the page as well so I mixed some cloud die cuts with some of the mini icon cloud stickers. To finish off the layout I added some love assortment sprinkles. Here is a look at my completed layout using the Love Notes collection.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
