Good Morning Doodlebug Fans! Jomelle here today. August is my Birthday Month and I wanted to create something that I can display in my craft room. Our challenge was to create something off the page. As a planner girl, off the page means a project not in my planner. What can be more perfect than the Monthly Layout for August using the Swimming Pool Daily doodles double sided cardstock.
I then used the White Clip art Clipboard to display my Calendar layout.
August 11 is my Birthday. I used the cake shoppe shape sprinkles and the teensy type on this day. I actually have to work on my Birthday. My family and I will have to celebrate on Monday.
Instead of using my handwriting, I decided to use the teensy type to create my plan for the days. I thought it adds more color to my calendar.
Our family loves to watch new release movie together. The only problem with that is my one year old daughter. We took her one time to watch the new Beauty and the Beast, and boy was that the biggest mistake. She ran around the whole theater playing and yelling.
I just love adding sprinkles randomly in my layout. They just add a cute finishing touch.
As a planner girl, I love going to a planner meet. I get to see my planner friends and I also get to meet new ones.
August is also the month of our Anniversary. This year my husband and I are celebrating our 15 years Anniversary. I am hoping to go on a date with him on this day without our kids tagging along.
My family loves going on a Road Trip. I think we may drive up North for this weekend to visit my cousins. This may be my boys last road trip before school starts. I also started using doilies in my layout.
