Off the Page Challenge: Coffee with a Friend Mini Album

When was the last time you created a project about you and your girlfriends and/or sisters?   It had been a while for me, so I decided to use one of my favorite Doodlebug collections to make one.   Cream & Sugar was perfect for my mini because I love the colors and nothing in my world happens before I have coffee, so .....
Coffee IS always better with a friend!  Now, I don't have photos of me and my besties drinking coffee together.  I should, because it happens ... but it's an album about friendship, and since I have lots of those photos, it works!
How cute are those Doodlebug coffee mugs?!  Odds & Ends are one of my favorite embellishments.
The little journaling spot at the top of the page was cut from a sheet in the 6x6 paper pad.  I always get 12x12 and 6x6 papers ... both sizes come in handy for any project.
For the pages, I just cut the base coffee cup out several times using Doodlebug's Coffee To Go Cutting file, (also available as an SVG file in the Lori Whitlock SVG shop) made an internal offset of the shape, and cut the offset out from different pattern papers.  Then I punched a hole in the top corner and added some chunky twine (which, by the way, is another thing I don't think I could live without)!
Life IS sweet, and I can't imagine it without my friends.  I will tell you a few stories about these ladies over on my blog today so I hope you'll stop by Artsy Albums :)
Thanks for visiting Doodlebug's blog.  This project was made for our design team's "Off the Page" challenge.  I hope you'll visit each day to see more fun projects from everyone on the team.  Until next time, happy crafting everyone!
