Elizabeth Carney
My very favorite thing about Doodlebug is that each product is fun and makes me smile! I love Doodlebug and have since I started scrapbooking. I love my family, they mean the world to me! I’ve got a great husband Dayv. We’ve been married 15 years. We have a beautiful daughter Alyssa who is 14 and a freshman in high school and 3 dogs too! We’re a military family and for the past 5 years home has been in Washington. We love hanging out with one another and you can always bet there is laughter going on! I recently quit working to go back to school full time to study dental hygiene and am excited about that journey! Aside from scrapping, I love to read, garden, and have loads of fun too!
Fun Facts about Elizabeth:
- If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose? I would absolutely love being Hermione in the Harry Potter series. Who doesn’t want to go to Hogwarts school?
- What’s the best/worst gift you’ve ever given/received? The best gift I ever received were the two sets of diamond earrings from Dayv. The first ones were when we were first married and they were hanging on the tree in an ornament and I couldn’t find them. They were special because I ended up giving them to my mom right before she passed away {with Dayv’s blessing} because she always wanted diamond earrings. The second pair was this last year for Christmas again and they were on a teddy bear’s ears {I didn’t see them right away} and he wanted to replace them because I had lovingly given her the first pair.
- What is one of your favorite quotes? When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me". Erma Bombeck
- What is one thing that most people wouldn’t guess about you? My great-great grandfather Jean Tijou was a master Huguenot Ironworker who was commissioned by Sir Christopher Wren building the staircases, balustrades, and gates in Hampton Court Palace. He is most noted for his iron work in St. Paul’s cathedral which are called Tijou Gates and they are on either side of the High Altar. Both of these are in London England.
