SWEET & SPOOKY HALLOWEEN PENCILS | with Miguel

I have another fun project with the beautiful Sweet & Spooky collection, today.   I created a very original and fun way to decorate pencils. It's about creating small compositions on the top of the pencil, tell me if it isn't the most beautiful thing?

I used the Happy Home Doodle Stamps and coordinating Doodle Cuts to create my houses.  I stamped them cut them from  cardstock and foam to give thickness. I added a  base on the  pencil and assembled the house to decorate.

To decorate I used different products such as Shaped Sprinkles, Puffy Icons and the acetate Odds & Ends. The result looks incredibly beautiful.

To give more view to my detail I placed a label at the bottom with some Doodle Twine and thread.

Isn't this a great idea?   It is a fun and very original way to give as a gift this Halloween season. I leave you the photograph along with the Halloween candy box from my last post.

Continue creating!  See you next time.

SWEET & SPOOKY HALLOWEEN LAYOUT | with Nathalie

Hello there! We are getting closer to celebrating another Halloween night, and making all those sweet and spooky memories. Now that my kids are older, I love revisiting memories of Halloween past, and what better way to document them than using the new Sweet & Spooky collection. Let's take a look.

Nothing says party more than rosettes! That was the starting point for this page. I just love how the rosettes set the festive feel of the page.

For my page, I pleated `12x 1.5"strips of different papers from the Sweet & Spooky collection. My choice was to create a partial rosette, and then attach it to matching pieces of the same paper as to create arches of paper.

I overlapped the rosette paper arches when I attached them to the background ( I combined white cardstock with a strip of How Sweet It Is paper), then attached the photo to the center of the arches. It was all about embellishing the page from then on!

I started with a cluster of stickers at the top right corner of the page, then pulled a few Bits and Pieces (those little houses are too cute to pass up!)and used them to elongate the design.

I pulled a few Chit Chat pieces and combined them with stickers to create the title for the page. I used a few extra puffy stickers and Sprinkles to add small pops of interest and dimension throughout the page.

I love how this page turned out! I hope this inspires you to pull your Halloween memories and document them with the new Sweet & Spooky collection.  XO

SWEET & SPOOKY DOODLE CUTS TREAT BOXES | with Kathy

Halloween time is coming up, you know what that means???  Yes, Treats!!!  Lots of treats!  For my project today, I came up with a fun way to package some of those goodies using the new Sweet & Spooky Collection and the coordinating Haunted Manor and Treat Yourself Doodle Cuts Sets.  These would be fun to give away, or use as party favors.  Take a peek...

For the front part of my boxes I used the Haunted Manor and Treat Yourself Doodle Cuts Sets.  I then added a little box to the back, perfectly sized to hold a small treat.

I love the Haunted Manor.  It's so fun and not so spooky when put together using the wisteria striped side of the Bitty Boos paper and some fun Polka Dot Petite Prints.

The Haunted Manor Doodle Cuts  come with dies for ghosts and pumpkins, but I decided to add a little shine and dimension by adding them from the Halloween Night and Pumpkin Pals shaped sprinkles.

My second treat box was put together using the Treat Yourself Doodle Cuts.  This Doodle Cuts set just asked to be made into a shaker!  I used the spider web side of the Sweet & Spooky cardstock along with some Floral/Graph and Candy Strip/Sprinkles Petite Prints to create my jar.

I added some acetate for the front, and attached it with some foam strips.  I filled my jar with some of the candies doodle cuts, some puffy stickers, sprinkles and Doodlebug sequins! I tied it all off with some doodle twine.

Now I have a treat for you!  I created files with the little boxes to fit these two Doodle Cut sets.  They are available in SVG, Silhouette and in a PDF.  The links are below!

That's all for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!
