Hey friends! Brianna here today sharing my first layout using the absolutely adorable Bee Happy collection. I love working with a hexagon shape and this collection is the perfect one to pair it with! Here's my page:
To start, I pulled out the Bee Happy Solid Assortment Cardstock and chose both the black and white papers. I wanted a bold matte so I trimmed down the white cardstock to an 11x11 and adhered it to the black. I then pulled out my large hexagon paper punch and used the 6x8 Paper Pad to punch out several of the papers. Next, I popped them all up on foam tape and adhered them to the left side of my layout. I love how they look all grouped together!
Next, I adhered my 4x6 photo on the right side of my layout and then adhered that adorable branch with the bees nest hanging from it right on top. I love how my daughter's dress matches this collection! Those bees are just so cute!
I used a few phrases from the All The Things pack to build my title and arranged it at the bottom of my page. It nestled perfectly in my hexagons! I made sure to pop them up on foam tape so they popped off of the page a bit more. I'm so in love with the 'honey' phrase, it's so fun. And since we were using the word honey, it was only fitting to add the My Honey Doodle-Pop right next to it!
Once I had all of my large elements down, I started pulling in some smaller ones for my hexagon shapes. I used an assortment of Puffy Icons, Nature's Honey Shape Sprinkles and a few more pieces from the All The Things pack to embellish.
Here's one last look at this sweet page:
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way! I'll see you in my next post friends!
