CHRISTMAS MAGIC GINGERBREAD HOUSE MINI ALBUM | with Shellye

Oh Christmas Magic is in the air!  Today I'm sharing the sweetest little gingerbread-house-shaped-mini album.  I've used a steel-rule die to cut the shapes from chipboard and patterned paper, but any house die or template would work!

The die also cuts out the window's shutters and door, which worked perfectly for the cover.  After dressing with patterned papers, I added the Doodle Pop Santa so that he's peeking out from behind the door!  I also modified the roof-line by die-cutting just a portion of the roof and then trimming to size.
Around the edge of the front and back covers, I trimmed with Chunky Twine.  To give a nice attachment, I've found that Glossy Accents holds the twine really well; a drop on the end of the twine also gives a good seal to prevent fraying.
For the inside pages I chose to cover the die-cut areas (window and door) by adding a circle of paper.  The size is perfect for adding small pictures to.
I love, love, love interactive pieces, so on the above two pages, I added a die-cut and tag that were adhered by one edge.  Everyone enjoys a cute peek-a-boo page!
Because the album is "mini" it's the perfect canvas for showing off those bitty stickers, tags and decorative brads.
I didn't have a large ring on hand to hold the pages together, so I used a white shower curtain ring instead...add a bit of ribbon and it works out just right!

Thank you for joining me today!
