Short Hair Layout | with Caroli

Today I want to share this layout that documents something really special that happened to me a few weeks ago. I have had long hair since I can remember, I love it long and all messy. Although, I've always wanted to cut it really short but never had the guts to do it... until now!
So, a few weeks ago I finally cut my hair over the shoulders and it felt great! I was scared of looking weird but I love the result, and how light it feels. This is what I wanted to document in this layout using the beautiful collection 'Hello', so sweet and feminine, perfect for the subject of my project.
I used a gorgeous banner cut file by The Cut Shoppe for the base of my design which I machine stitched. I added two pics, one in color and one in black and white. I love to combine photos for a more interesting composition.
I wrote my tittle using Doodlebug's Abigail alpha in mint and a word I cut using my Silhouette Cameo. I also used a tiny heart shaped sprinkle as the dot of the "i", I think its such an adorable detail!
I created my embellishment clusters using lots of flowers from the Hello Odds&Ends pack and also by hand cutting them from the patterned papers of this collection. Fussy cutting is one of my fave techniques for scrapbooking so I enjoyed the process and ended up with lots of flowers.
I also used some stickers and some Chit Chat pieces as well as some of the gold heart sprinkles, love them!

I had a lot of fun documenting this big event in my life and playing with this beautiful and girly collection. I hope you liked this project and get inspired to work on your scrapbooks as well.

Have a lovely day!
