Hi everyone! I am so excited to be sharing my first blog post with
you today. I have long been a fan of Doodlebug Designs and am thrilled
to be a part of the team now. I have been scrapbooking since 2004 and
have most recently become addicted to decorating my planner. Doodlebug
goodies have always been some of my favorites to use! Today, I'm sharing
how I set up my personal planner using the adorable Cream and Sugar
collection. This one speaks to my heart because I am a coffee addict. My
local Dunkin Donuts workers know me by name and always have my favorite
drink ready to go!
I
added some cute die cuts and stickers to my pocket then tucked in some
note cards and extra paper clips that I might need later on. This pocket
just makes me happy!
Next, I have a weekly spread to share with you. As I mentioned earlier, I am addicted to coffee, so when I opened up my box and saw the adorable coffee Odds and Ends, washi tape and Doodle Pops, I was giddy! I used the washi along the top and created a washi effect along the bottom using one of the strips from the 12 by 12 paper. I added some sticker borders and a few more die cuts and Icon Stickers to decorate and serve as labels to write on.
One
of the things I like to do each week is to create a to do list from a
journaling card. I trimmed the 4 by 4 card down a bit so that it would
fit. On the back, I added another piece of paper and some stickers. This
is a place where I can write my general things to do list.
Finally, I made some matching paper clips. I love finding items to create them with and the Doodle Pops were perfect. I adhered them to a paper clip with hot glue and added a die cut circle to the backs.
I
ended up making more clips because the donuts were just perfect to do
so. I have them tucked into the front of the planner and can use them as
needed.
Thanks for letting me share my planner with you today. I can't wait to use Cream and Sugar for more of my planner spreads!
