Right? How cute is this paper and these die cuts from the Odds and Ends pack?! I had some small take-out containers kicking around (these were leftovers from a Christmas project but there are templates galore online so you can create your own). I thought they would make a great little hostess gift or even a place cards for a little dinner party you might be hosting! Fill them with a little bit of candy sushi or any other little treat, and you'll be the "ricest" gift giver ever!
In my family, I am going to use these as a gifts for my cuties. My oldest daughter is obsessed with sushi and rice...she would eat it everyday if she could...so I thought it would be fun to actually serve some sushi in it. And given that the youngest won't touch either (because life would be too easy if they wold like the same things, right?!), I think her's will include some fruit roll up sushi for dessert!
Oh, and just as an embellishment for these cute die cuts, I added some chopsticks simply cut from Doodlebug's textured cardstock in cream...
...and included the cutest washi tape ever! As a final touch, my new favourite Sprinkles sealed the deal...mini hearts! What???!!! I know - I heard you squeal! So there you have it. One of what will be at least 20 projects I have planned with this collection! Seriously - I'm not sure I will be able to stop. In the meantime, I hope you are enjoying this bright pop of colour in the winter. Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs, Karen
