The name of the collection and all the "spooktacular" icons and designs were my inspiration for this project.
I decided to create a scene of Booville on Halloween night.
The ledge house I used is a Silhouette file that works perfectly for small spaces. I made my house a narrow base to sit on, using chipboard and foam board. The depth of the piece is only 3 inches, but I was able to fill the project with a ton of embellishments and fun details.
One adjustment I made from the original house, was the cone-shaped roof. I wanted mine to be a little taller so I could add a twisting chimney. I got a little carried away with all the fun patterns, but for Halloween, I think you can go over the top. One of my favorite things about Booville has to be the addition of pink. Don't you love it?
Also, nothing says Halloween more than black and white stripes! As you can see I used them a lot! :)
To add to the night time feel, I added some patterned paper from the Hats Off collection. The silver foil adds a little sparkle.
fantastic! Love how the paper designs inspired this scene.
