Booville Collection: Trick or Treat Layout by Caroli

Hello there, how are you peeps? Caroli here, and today I am so pleased to show you some layouts I made using the fabulous Booville Collection by Doodlebug Design.

I love Halloween, I love dressing my kids up and going out to trick or treating, and I have a lot of pics of past Halloweens that didn't scrap before because I was waiting for the right collection, and here it is!

My first project is this layout I made with pics of my little girl dressed as Monster High's Draculaura, few years ago. She was so excited about wearing a wig for the first time, we had a great time that day :)

My fave product from DD these days is Odd&Ends packages, so I wanted to use a lot of them on my layouts and in the middle of an embellies cluster I pu a round shaped pic, classic!

I love all the clear acetate shapes included on the package, there spider webs are perfect for placing under a pic here and there!

The colors and patterns of the papers in this collection are so bright and happy, I used a sunburst design so as to feature lots of them, this is a good way to include lots of patters without making the project too busy.

My second layout is about my little girl again, or should I say not so little anymore? This is from last year and as you can see, she picked a totally different custome, this time as Harley Quinn. I must say I had no idea who Harley Quinn was, so I googled and tried to improvise the custome as better as I could.

Once again I used a lot of Odds&Ends and some Sprinkles as well, I love how the little round pic pop from the embellies block.

I am in love with the tiny acetate ghosts included on the Odds&Ends package, they are too cute to spook and I love the transparency effect over a photo

I created my tittle combining Teensy Alphas and a word I cut using my Silhouette Cameo using free font is Sacramento.

Last but not least, this is a layout I made with a pic of the first halloween of my little Mr. I made a tiny t-shirt for he to wear and we went out trick or treating in the stroller with his sister and some friends.

I went for a simple design on this one, creating a big embellishment block below the pic. You can tell I kind of went nuts using all kind of sprinkles, the spider ones are my fave in this collection, they are boo-tiful! :)

I really enjoyed working with this collection, the colors are so pretty! I love that it has hot pink and teal colors, although they are not traditionally halloween colors, they look great along with other colors

I still have few halloween pics I'll scrap with this pretty collection, I'll share what I make on my instagram and on my blog as well. I hope you got some inspiration from this post and now are printing Halloween pics :) Have a lovely day!
