Hi Doodlebug fans! It's Tya here and I am closing out our awesome and
super fun Odds and Ends Challenge that we have had going on the blog
the last couple of weeks. It was so fun to use this amazing product and
I challenged myself to use it in a new and inventive way other than a
card or scrapbook layout. What I came up with are these cute photo
holders made from giant clothespins that I picked up at my local craft
supply store. I used the adorable Dragon Tails
line to make these and used the Odds and Ends, pattern paper,
clothespins, mini stickers, This and That Sticker Sheet and enamel dots.
These
clothespins are something I have had pinned on my "Projects I Love"
board on Pinterest for ages and I am glad I got a chance to finally make
these. To make the clothespins I painted them with some acrylic paint
and then added various pattern papers to the front of the clothespins.
I then printed off a few photos and then had fun decorating each of the clothespins in different ways. Here are some close ups:
These
clothespins would be great as party favors or party decor - or even fun
for a little gift. I hope I have inspired you to make some of these
cute photo holders of your own. The Odds and Ends come with so many
different pieces that you will have plenty to create so many different
projects! Thanks for stopping by! Happy Crafting!
