Fairy Tales Collection: Happy Little Kitty Layout by Anita Bownds

Hi there, Doodlebug fans...
Anita here today sharing a couple of layouts using the new fairy tales collection
Don't you think that this collection is just so adorable !!

For my first layout, I was thinking bright, fun happy
and the great thing about this collection you can use it for any kind of layout really it doesn't have to be birthday
The first patterned paper I chose for the border of my layout just popped behind the white cardstock it so reminded me of a big lolly pop
Then I thought I would really like to have flowers on my layout so I used one of the cut files I designed and backed it with patterned paper using pink and green

Here you can view my process video

I also cut a few shapes in different sizes out of the patterned paper and did some layering
I added brads to add dimension and a different texture to the layout along with machine stitching around the border

I cut a few pendant bits of patterned papers to tuck behind my photo and adding the flowers on 2 corners of my photo

I used a few different alphas to create my title in the same colours
As well as a die cut from the odds and ends pack

Product used
5608 fairy tales this and that cardstock sticker
2360 bright assortment chunky brads

For my second layout
I was inspired to use this hot air balloon after drawing it to use as a cut file. I started by backing it with rainbow love
Then I backed my white cardstock on to over the rainbow

Then I used the bright assortment doodle twine in yellow and separated the yellow
and the white using 2 strands of twine to hand stitch the balloon

For the basket I used the light purple magical unicorns and add a another cut file flower and popped a little cute unicorn in the basket
Adding a rainbow heart sprinkle in the middle and I also backed the little ribbons on the side of the basket with pixie dust

I then added my photo to the side of the balloon
I used one of the word die cuts from the odds and ends pack for my title

I add die cut clouds at the top of my balloon ,so cute don't you think!!

Then lastly I added a few little dots from sweet treats shape sprinkles
