see the wonderful project by Brigit Mann
Hi Doodlebug Fans!! It's Brigit here today to share a couple of projects with you.
First I have to tell you how excited I I'm to be joining this wonderful and very talented team, I'm looking forward to this year ahead!
I couldn't make up my mind on what to create so I made a couple of sets using some of the NEW Cream & Sugar Cut Files and Paper Collection. The cut files can be bought at Lori Whitlock's shop in svg format or the Silhouette Design Store.
First up is a macaron card and treat box...
These macaron's are so cute, I fell in love the minute I saw them. I knew I wanted to make a box so I searched the internet and came up with this adorable macaron pdf file, I converted the file and did a trace and cut it out on my cricut explore.
I used this chip bag and made it into a shaker card. Crimping the edges really helped to make it look more realistic. I added a couple of of little macaron sprinkles and some bubblegum chunky twine.
The box is super simple to put together, you could make a bunch of these in no time.
The donut cut files are so stinkin' cute, I had so much fun putting these two projects together. For the sprinkles I used a couple of colors of Doodlebug's Textured Cardstock, which cuts like a dream on my Cricut Explore.
I thought this trio would look darling together, so I created this shaped card in Silhouette Studio, (I have an older version of SSDE so I'm able to save what I create as an svg and cut it out on my other machines.) I kept it pretty simple not to take away from the donuts, they are just too cute with all those sprinkles and this sentiment from the collection is just perfect.
I used this file to make the matching donut bag, I reshaped it a little to make it rounder. I love this brown gingham paper from the Gingham-Linen Rainbow Petite Prints pack, definitely a must have for your stash.
I wanted to make something with an old fashion feel with the cookies and milk cut files so I created this card and matched it up with this pretty swimming pool gingham bag.
The pitcher of milk is the cutest and those chocolate chips look simply delicious, totally love! The lily white textured cardstock is from Doodlebug's Pastel Assortment pack.
These doodlebug bags are just darling, add a little treat inside and you have a quick and easy project.
I hope you've enjoyed the projects I created, thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Brigit, you did amazing! Love it all!
