SNOW MUCH FUN - BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE LAYOUT | with Tya

There’s just something so cozy and happy about winter scrapbooking, and this layout was such a joy to create using the Snow Much Fun collection. This collection is packed with sweet icons, soft winter colors, and the cutest snowflakes—perfect for documenting chilly adventures and warm memories alike.

I was especially drawn to all of the snowflake designs in this collection, so I decided to let them shine by creating a grid-style background. I used a mix of patterned paper squares from the 6×6 paper pad and layered them with snowflake images from the Bits and Pieces die cuts. The repeating squares add structure while still keeping the layout playful and whimsical—such a fun way to showcase smaller patterns and icons.

To bring the layout to life, I added several adorable die cuts throughout the design. The “Baby it’s cold outside” phrase from the Chit Chat pieces makes the perfect title, while the sweet snowman, trees, and other winter elements from the Odds and Ends add charm and personality around the photo. I love how these layered embellishments help guide the eye across the page while adding lots of dimension.

For the journaling, I layered two tags cut from the Freeze Tag patterned paper, tying them together with twine for a soft, cozy touch. This little cluster tucks nicely into the grid and gives the story its own special space without overwhelming the design.

As a final detail, I sprinkled in a few heart-shaped sprinkles from the I Love Snow shape sprinkles. These tiny accents add just the right pop of shine and sweetness and really finish the layout off beautifully.
