FAIRY GARDEN LAYOUT | with Nathalie

For the love of rainbows -and black and white photos-! I am sure many of you share my love for a number of colors in an arch.   Well, as soon as the new FAIRY GARDEN collection arrived, I was totally in love with the colors and all the rainbow patterns ( plus the fairies, bugs, and everything nice that dreams are made of!!).  So, I quickly formed the idea on my head and pulled scissors, glue, and embroidery floss to create a page all about my Goddaughters (aka my littlest cousins!)

I drew the rainbow in a 8.5"x11"piece of copy paper, cut each strip to use it as a pattern for the patterned papers from the collection.  Once all the papers were cut, I glued them to a piece copy paper, created my stitching guide ( a thumb tack did the trick), turned on Netflix, and hand stitched away!

In addition, I drew a few clouds in a scrap piece of white cardstock, and added a bit of hand stitching around the borders.

I chose the Bubble Blue gingham/linen Pettite Print for the background, and simply started gluing everything to the page with a bit of foam adhesive.    The new Sunshiny Day Doodle Pop is probably a new favorite that I am going to need to curate in my stash!

Once the rainbow was set cascading into the clouds, The perfect spot for my photos just appeared!  I used the Sprinkles Vellum to back my pictures and added a few embellishments around them.   For my title, I combined pieces  from the Odds & Ends and Chit Chat packs with My Type stickers.     A few enamel dots and a few mini icon stickers complete the page.

I cannot wait to see what you all create with the gorgeous FAIRY GARDEN collection.  It is just what nice dreams are made of! Now, I am off to order a few extra pieces for my stash!

XO
