- After cutting chipboard stencils for the car and bunny on my Silhouette. I mounted them to foam board. Then cut them out using a scroll saw. The bunny and leafy section of the car were covered with cardstock first.
- Below you can see how the 3 car sections were sandwiched together to form the finished piece.
- The sides of the car were covered with chipboard then patterned paper, along with the front and back.
- The car wheel covers were cut out and covered with paper then attached to each side. Wood wheels were painted purple and then attached to the car and a wood oval base.
Some grey chunky twine was used to outline the bunny's face, ears and paws. I also created a small chipboard steering wheel with my Silhouette, so she could steer her way around town.
I layered some basket and chick doodle-pop stickers together with a "Easter Blesssing sign. Then these were added to the base of the project along with some Easter egg sprinkles.
A little stitching was added around the car door and some doodle-pop flowers were used to add some color and texture to the car. I love the new wood grain petite prints and think they worked well for the body of the car.
Thanks so much for visiting today. Happy Easter, everyone! :)
