Pumpkin Party Wreath | with Tya

Have you finished your Halloween decorations yet? I have got a fun wreath that took no time to whip up to show you today using the adorable Pumpkin Party collection.

I have always loved making these paper strip type of wreaths - especially when the pattern papers I am using are so yummy! To make this wreath I started out with a piece of chipboard that I simply traced around a couple of plates to get an outer and an inner circle. I took some scissors and cut the circles out. To get to the center circle I simply stabbed my scissors through the very center and  then began cutting outwards. Its ok if its not the prettiest, the edges will get covered with paper. :)  I then chose my favorite 12x12 papers and trimmed them into strips that measure 2x12 inches. Notch the ends to make a banner and then begin gluing the strips , overlapping them just a little, along the chipboard circle base. So so easy!

Here are a few close ups of how I decorated the wreath. I used mostly die cut pieces from the Odds and Ends and a few stickers from the Icon sticker sheet and the This and That sticker sheet. I added  a few Halloween Night Star Sprinkles here and  there as well.

How cute is that little spider hanging down from some Bakers Twine? Love him!
I hope I have inspired you to add a fun wreath like this to your Halloween decor! It was so much fun to put together! Thanks for stopping by today and Happy Halloween!
