I am very excited to be here today to share a memory keeping project and inspire you to document your Halloween, or like I did, Dia de los Muertos with the
Pumpkin Party collection! Snap those photos, get them printed and grab your supplies!
This is a 6x12 pocket spread that I will insert into my regular family album. I fell in love with the bright and festive colors in this collection and went first for the
6x6 paper pad to create most of my pockets. For the title card, I cut a piece of stripped paper to 4x6 and added my title with the
Teensy type alphabet stickers in Tangerine directly on the photo paper. I embellished with two die-cuts, one each from the
Chit Chat and the
Odds & Ends packs.
For the second pocket, I picked a black tone-on-tone tree paper. I felt that my photos were pretty busy so it was important to have "quieter" papers to let the eyes rest. It is for this reason that I also made a pocket with a Petite Print paper on the other page.
The die-cuts on the edges above were chosen to match the paper on the right page below. For this fun 3x4 pocket, I cut the large word die-cut in half in order for it to fit. As a last minute addition, I put two googly eyes from the super fun
Eye See You Shaped Sprinkles in the O's.
I love the ability to add a touch of humor thanks to some clever embellishments and I love the festive look of my spread. Here's one last look, in the album:
Whether you are a pocket scrapper, a layout maker or a TN spread creator, you will have fun matching your photos with the Pumpkin Party collection and documenting those memories!
Happy Halloween!
