Chevrons...Use a Little or A Lot Layout Inspiration

Your Sparkle Layout
by Kathy Skou

Hi Everyone, it's Kathy today with a layout featuring Doodlebug's Chevron Sugar Coated Cardstock.  I love glitter, so this cardstock is right up my alley!!!  Here's what I created:
This quote has always been a favorite, and worked perfectly with the sparkle factor in the Chevron Sugar Coated Cardstock ... and this silly selfie of my daughter.  I used a number of thin dies and my Big Shot to cut hearts from the cardstock.  I love how the colors coordinate perfectly with the Sugar Shoppe papers!

For my title, I couldn't resist mixing and matching Doodlebug Alphas and I HAD to use the Bubblegum Shin-Dig Sugar Coated Alphas

To complete my layout, I added some Doodlebug Sequins and stitched with some silver thread for a little more bling!  That's it for me today.  Be sure to keep checking back here to see more inspiration from the Doodlebug Design team!  Thanks for stopping by.

Little Girl Big Personality
by Jodi Wilton

Hi Everyone!  Jodi here today to share with you a fun layout that I did of my daughter, Taylor! I love using as much color as I can on my layouts, so I decided on some rainbow stripes using the Chevron Sugar Coated Cardstock.

I used Beacons 3 in 1 glue to make sure the sugar coated paper stuck really well. The length of each strip is 1 3/4 X 11 1/2.

Next up I added 10 photos all sized at 3 X 2 and arranged them on top of the layout as shown below. I added the title using a variety of alpha stickers to add interest and added the rainbow doodle-pop in the middle!

I finally grabbed a bunch of embellishments to see what wound work on the layout, and decided to try my best to do tone-on-tone.  Here is the result:

I used a lot of doodle-pops and mini doodle-pops on the layout.  I layered the monster doodle-pop with the mini popsicle doodlepop... I think this is just so cute!!!

I also loved the little monster from the Hip-Hip Hooray collection and added that with the cloud from the Springtime Icon Sticker Sheet

I also layered a lot on the layout with a variety of jewels on top of stickers:

I hope you enjoyed the layout today and that the sun is shining wherever you are!
