Colorwheel Lights by Melinda Spinks
A friend of mine asked if I had any ideas on making a light shade for her daughter's bedroom that was extremely cost effective. So after browsing some magazines I stumbled across the cutest Chinese lantern that was decorated in butterflies... and the idea suddenly came to me that Colorwheel would be perfect with its gorgeous bright, girly colors and lots of flowers and butterflies. I decided to use two different sizes as it seems to be 'in vogue' to use multiple lights and it also gave me more area to cover with fun elements and to split the little saying across the two lights. Now, here's a tip... if you ever attempt to make your own lights, don't use a hot glue gun to adhere your pieces as the heat from the globes with melt the glue. Use a heat tolerant liquid glue instead.
