HELLO AGAIN ACCORDION ALBUMS | with Niella

Hi there my fantastic crafty crew! How fast is the year going already? It's late July and we have so much more crafting to do right! Today I am so excited to showcase the newest collection by Doodlebug Design - Hello Again! So much prettiness + cheerfulness in one collection! I've decided to take inspiration from one of the collections features which is books! Here I'm created accordion paged books with a twist, so cute!

These books are sized 3.5 x 4.25" and 3 x 4" by 1.25" thick. Cute right! But how do you embellish each page you may ask? Well, here's the twist...it's all one 24" in length page and you simply pull one end out and it spreads across your tabletop :-) I adore different ideas and takes on a classic project and you will too!

Once you pull out the full length and you can go wild decorating each as much as you want or gift as plain and let your lucky recipient decorate! These books are all decorated and ready to add photos and journaling too, even better that the back is all plain so you can put hidden journaling on the back if you wish.

You can have your one page as long as you want or as short; each page folds up against each and I've decorated with everything I could add :-) I've used the 6x6" paper pad, Odds & Ends, Bits & Pieces, Chit Chat ephemera and dotted around sprinkles and shape sprinkles. Sweet! I've even die cut a wee window and lined it with the Gold Dot acetate in the Hello Again collection, double joy!

And have you seen the extra pieces this collection has? The Little Charmers, which come with bonus matching gold links - I've added one to each of the outer spines, too sweet! Once you've finished styling your "pages", you simply tuck the page back in and it'll hold in place as the cover doesn't open all the way out and it keeps it's shape :-)

HELLO AGAIN 6X8 ALBUM | WITH TRACI

Happy Friday! Traci here and I'm loving the new Hello Again collection! The original 2018 Hello collection was a favorite of mine so I had high hopes and, true to form ... this one is gorgeous! The colors are so fresh and summery. It's has fun prints and cute icons that can be used for lots of different projects. There are flowers, butterflies, houses, books, telephones, plants, cars, and ... amazing gold foil accents! It was barely out of the box before I started making an album with all this cuteness!

I started with a 6x8 robin's egg blue binder and used both the 12x12 and 6x6 prints. For the cover, I added some adorable die cuts from the Odds & Ends and the brand new chunky twine in coral.

Check out the gold accents on the die cuts and shape sprinkles. They are gorgeous but the photos don't show how pretty they really are. When the light hits them, they literally shimmer!

Here's a close-up of the coral twine. I love it and it looks amazing with the summer colors in this collection.

I created a pocket with the Green Thumb paper (such a clever name, lol!) and tucked a bright pink photo mat inside. On the front of the pocket, I added the stack of books die cut - it has pretty gold accents too!

I made a waterfall element to hold lots of photos and show off all the colorful pattern papers. The top layer is a 4x4 card from the print titled Patchwork Plaid, which ... is also the second layer too. All the little hearts on the third layer remind me of heart shaped sprinkle stickers. I love those!

I used a 3x4 journaling card from the print called Pretty Polka-dots to create a small folding card. It's perfect for some notes and a few photos inside. And that pink color is amazing.

Here's another pocket page with more photo mats and journaling cards inside. These pattern papers are too cute to waste so this is a great way to use your scraps.

I made a gate-fold page with this pistachio colored Butterfly Garden paper and added some Odds & Ends pieces. The 3x4 card in the center has a great positive saying and acts as a tab to open the pages. Perfect!

I hope my mini album inspires you to create something wonderful with the Hello Again collection. It just feels happy and I know you're going to love it!

HELLO AGAIN MINI PLANNER | with Jen

In case you haven't noticed yet, I LOVE acetate. And when I saw that Doodlebug was coming out with gold foiled acetate I squealed and immediately started planning my first project with it.

I've made a mini planner (or traveler's notebook, you decide!) using the new Hello Again collection and that amazing Gold Dots acetate. The planner measures 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" and is 3/4" thick. I made it small to easily tuck into my purse.

To hold my inserts I used the new Coral Doodlebug Twine and made a little tassel for the spine. For a closure I used some thin jewelry chain so I could add some of the new Little Charmers. They're so tiny and cute!

Inside I made two inserts that are 4 1/4" x 5 1/4". For the covers I used coordinating Doodlebug Textured cardstock and decorated them with some Bits and Pieces and two of the tag cut-aparts from the Just Because Plaid paper.
