FUN AT THE PARK MAGICAL DAY LAYOUT | with Lisa

Fun at the park... That's what I had last week, when I visited Disneyland Paris after 3 years. Normally, I go there a few times every year... but I really didn't want to have a half-good experience, wearing a mask... :)) So after my trip, I decided to make a layout, with one of the photos I took on that trip :)

To start, I went through my Fun at the Park collection and decided to use the paper with the film strips. I also wanted to use the paper frills in red and yellow. So I cut out three film strips and cut out some of the parts with the "images" (white parts), to be able to back them with little cute pictures from the collection. After doing that, I adhered two frills on each side of the main strip. I think that looks super cool.

As a background I used a super light pink cardstock from my stash. I also had two mickey heads left, that I cut out of patterned paper, from a previous layout. I decided to stitch a border on those and use them on the layout. I matted my photo with a few pieces of patterned paper and then I placed all the elements on the page to see how I wanted everything to look.

Then I adhered everything in place, using liquid glue and foam squares, to have different dimensions. I also added some more paper frills behind the film strips. Since the left side of the layout is a lot more clean and naked, I decided to add some distressed look to the mickey heads. I used a blue and black gelato and a dauber to rub some dark color onto them.

I went through all of the embellishments and chose some die cut pieces from the Chit & Chat pack and from the Odds & Ends pack. I also decided to use the camera shaker Doodle Pop.

A few Jewels here and there and the layout was done :) I love those Mickey colors, and of course they match my photo perfectly.  I hope you've been having some good times in parks lately and have taken some cool photos to scrap and use your Fun at the Park collection.

See you soon,

CUTE & CRAFTY SCRAPBOOK CHARM | with Miguel

Scrapbook charms are definitely the perfect accessory for a mini album, they come in different shapes and sizes. Today I bring you this idea to inspire you and you can make one.

I'll tell you... the Cute and Crafty cut files are a great tool when creating!  I cut the files with my Silhouette Cameo.  I modified the size and made a window to make a shaker.  I added some foam tape to give it height and placed some beads inside.  I used Doodlebug's Textured Cardstock to make the bag, and some paper and elements from Cute & Crafty Icon stickers to decorate.

I love making charms from leftover elements of a collection.  It's a great way to use all my scraps and makes a great decoration for my projects, in this case in my beautiful charm.

See how they look when placed in this beautiful scraper tote. I also added colored plastic beads strung one by one on the metal chain to give it texture and movement, I'm sure it would look great on an album spine.  It's that easy to create your own charm designs, with the collection that you like the most. I hope my idea inspires you a lot and you put it into practice. See you soon!

HIPPITY HOPPITY EASTER GRATITUDE JOURNAL | with Nathalie

Who is ready to host Easter celebrations in their homes? Well, we are! And it will be the first major celebration in two years (i.e.post COVID); this means I will be a tad busy with cleaning, cooking, and entertaining.  So, what better way to speed my memory documenting than to prep my layout for the day.

Most of my daily documenting is held in notebooks, and layouts.  So, today I want to give you a glimpse at my Gratitude journal entry for the day ( and all I have to do is add photos and  my story!!!)

I started with strips of Petite Print in as an anchor for the layout.  Then added small strips of Cute & Crafty paper helps to bring all the colors of the embellishments in to the page.  I added a cluster of embellishments to the top left corner of the page, plus added a few photo maps and extra embellishments to the page.

To balance the page, I am using more Hippity Hoppity Odds and Ends, and Doodle pops to create a large embellishment cluster at the bottom right of the page... I just love those cute little bunnies!

To finish the page, I am using My Type Alpha Stickers ( and when "E" is out, then backwards "3" do the trick) and more embellishments from Hippity Hoppity to complete my title.

Now all that is left is to enjoy the day, print the photos and voila! done!   I hope this gives you an idea or two for your Easter memory documenting!  I hope you had a blessed Easter!
